This works best when you draw slowly. If you go too fast, like when tracing a sketch for line art, it can veer away from the line if you go too fast and the delay is too long. Adjust the settings to your liking. Great tool.

That's why Krita should add new features. Procreate has a feature called "Quick shape". It makes the circle/lines/curves perfect if you hold the apple pencil for a second. Autodesk sketchbook has same kind of feature called "Predictive strok". But it's sad that, even photoshop doesn’t have features like this. I really expect this feature to be present in many of the softwares. It will make artworks quite easy.

Thank you. My old drawing tab couldn't work properly when I'm using dual monitors, the lines were shaky. Now I've set it to weighted brush smoothing and the lines looks nice, doesn't feel as good as when I'm using one monitor, but I'll try to change the settings a bit.

Tool Options should be available in animation :o By default, I believe it puts all tabs on the left hand side. Layers, Tool Options and Advanced Color Selector should all be mushed together!

Make sure you have the Brush Tool selected, then try Tool Options.

@itsmmw I had the same problem, Uninstall it download the updated version (I did this however once I realized that even the updated version won't have the task bar) Once downloaded next to the brush setting at the top (in between the square colors and where it shows what kind of brush you're using) there will be a little square menu click on that and it'll show you the different options to stabilize/weight or whatever you wanna choose

How do you smooth parts of a jaggered line or shapes? Is there a smoothing brush like in Illustrator? I don't want to smooth the whole line or shape. Just parts of it.

I used to have krita, but the software seemed to heavy because the computer I had was old as hell...the thing would lag basically... so I changed to Firealpaca Ihave now a much better computer, but the tablet I use is a wacom intuos, (those little ones with no screen), and Krita still feels clunky... Could the tablet be the reason? Do I have to buy something better? Help me out here

Hello, if u are referring to Clio studio, every brush comes with a stabilisation scroller, just look below the brushes hopefully u find it, and best of luck
