You can look at estate sales or craigslist/ marketplace for vintage industrial machines. I found one for $100 and another machine a man gave me free for buying some of his other antiques. They are fast and powerful.

This why I love my Juki I be goooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeee lol!!! You can go so much faster and still accurate. In my videos (none has ever seen light of day) I say Imma speed up this part then I look like I dont have to speed it up Im done lol.

Those ribbon tutus also make great cocktail party aprons. As young teens, we quickly made gorgeous tulle ones with glitzy beaded appliques. Our home sewing machines run at 1,050 spm. Gave the aprons as gifts for Christmas and New Years hostess partywear. The recipients loved them.

Do you only use white thread for all your tutu’s? At least the lighter colored ones? I feel like I’m constantly changing thread color to match the tulle and ribbon. Love this tutu and watching g your videos. You are a great inspiration.

Girl yes ! Just use white unless the color is dark then change the thread ! You can’t even tell in the tutu when the color is white

If you have 2 separate rolls of tulle do you just sew them together then do the ribbon like same process in vid to connect them. Or a different way. This is so cute! I want to make one for my pet cow lol 😂. Also what needles do you use?

Hi You don’t have to sew them together, then you gather them you won’t be able to see it, I use 75/11

Ive got a couple jukis . industrial machines are a must if your going to do production or run a business. I do alterations n other crafts. They are awesome machines. Try it with a walking sewing foot device and watch your fingers.😉

I am just trying to learn with one colour tulle first for 12mths to 2T which is 12yards length x 6 inches wide. So hopefully I am going in the right direction aye. Correct me if I am wrong. I am very excited to learn how make tutu.
