benson machira well it was about one night in a boarding school on vaitupu. In the girls dorm some girls were studying and halfway through they feel asleep,leaving a candle on and that was the caused of the fire. the girls tried to get out but the room was locked from outside so it was too late for them.when the others realized about the fire it was too late.18 girls died that night including a housemaid(I think it was a housemaid) making it 19 people who died that night. How did I know this? Well it’s because my father was there when the fire happened(don’t worry he’s still alive)

Isn't it possible to reclaim more land? Maybe inside fo the atoll? For example take a load of sand from Australia and place it on the inside of the atoll? Would this make any sense?

ZiomekPatrykC it's been done right now. But no need to take sand from Australia when the island is surrounded by sand. They are sucking up sand few hundred meters from the shore line and recreating the beach. Along with planting the mangroves as shower to hold the sand in.

@@hellokittycafe2790 living in Tuvalu is awesome cus not only can you go anywhere you'd like without getting lost, you can also roam around as a kid without the worries of getting killed or kidnapped. we don't have a lot of fruits in Tuvalu but there's one called Fuifala in our language but they're called Pandanus fruits and they usually grow around the summer? (i can't really tell since it's summer everyday in Tuvalu). they're really delicious and my favourite fruit, but make sure you don't mistook the smaller version of it as them since the smaller one are not edible and will give you rashes all over your mouth and lips. (fun fact is that we use them in our flower crowns.)

@@lucielphantom7065 that’s amazing 🤩 I remember in my moms home country Honduras 🇭🇳 we would roam around the streets at night and day times and we would also roam around in places such as the rainforest, bananas plantations, and sugar canes plantations. We would also swim in rivers, lakes, beaches and dirty waters as well 😂 but we didn’t care cuz we were kids. Even tho Honduras is the most dangerous countries in the world with a lot of violence and crimes these days but in those days when we were kids it was that dangerous so we didn’t care we would just be careful.
