What a lovely tale, I’m glad Claude can move on to reunite with their loved ones. Death can be a tragic thing, but in the end, love will always be with you. For the third (possible?) installment, I’m really hoping we see a backstory for these two. Like I have hundreds of burning questions on my mind. Even if they aren’t answered, I’m glad to watch this neat show, thank you to the team and Albert.

@Eksprolek Not really- It’s more like a prequel episode, not really answering the backstory questions. The game just doesn’t show us any information on their families or previous lives. It’s still a great game though!! You should get it :3

That was an awesome and beautiful conclusion for this episode. Claude's soul is finally free and his body can finally rest with his wife and his son. Incredible.

Farewell, Claude. Rest in peace, sun child. It looks like my whole crazy tombstone theory on the last episode was very incorrect, but I'm glad to be proven wrong. This was an excellent send-off for Claude and really the only proper way for his soul to move on. This makes me think about Tux though-- he's technically a skeleton as well, but an animate one. He still has his soul inside of him. However, Claude was seemingly separated from his soul at death, left to wander his family's home after his wife and son passed. So that leaves the question, is this just a continuity error or something more? I'm inclined to believe the latter. My theory is that in this world, there are three ways for a soul to exist. Firstly, a soul can be attached to the body, whether the body itself is in a living state or if it is technically "dead" (like Tux). Second, a soul can be detached from the body and wander the world as a ghost, if the soul had unfinished business in life that it needs to attend to (like Claude). Finally, a soul and the body can be completely separate, after the body has died, and the soul travels to the afterlife, presumably Heaven (as shown at the end of this episode). Thanks for making me think, as always, Tux and Fanny. :)
