An interstage cooler is one of the most important mods for these types of pumps. BUT it does not reduce the total amount of condensation. That is independent from where the heat is drawn out. All air ends at ambient temp. That defines the amount of water at the end. The air comes in with the amount of water that it has. Cold air is good. The difference drops out.

@@alexmackey9922 You can use water vapor pressure tables to see that. When you compress directly to 300 bars, you need to cool ambient air down to -80°C to not get condensation at 300 bars/20°C. Not very practical. If you precompress to 10 bars and cool then, -22°C is enough to crash out enough water to not have condensation at 300bars/20°C. At 15 bars it is -19°C. More viable, but still a hassle. If you use a high pressure condenser inside a freezer, it will probably work well at higher pressures. Still the first 100 bars tend to carry too much moisture into the bottle, if not run over molecular sieves. I like to dry the air at that intermediate pressure level. Cool down to ambient, drain the water and then run the rest through quite large molecular sieve beds. 2'' stainless steel pipes with endcap fittings filled with sieves. These can easily be regenerated in a kitchen oven at 250°C, or with a vacuum pump and milder heat. Whatever is more practical at the moment.

Not sure what that first stage pressure on your compressor is but ATSM 280 refrigerant line in 1/4 with an .030 wall (close to your 6mm with 1mm wall) is rate for 1200psi. While big box stores sell K,L, and ACR copper that are rated for around 900PSI. For a 4500psi compressor that might be sketchy without knowing the first stage pressure.

Knowing would be better, sure. But I think there is PLENTY of headspace to 900 and even more to 1200psi. 1mm wall thickness would be a 0.040 wall. Quite a bit more even than your 1200psi pipe. I have absolutely no safety concern here.

The copper pipe in in the interstage section. It does not see 300 bar. Interstage pressure is much lower. Let's say 20 bar. Copper pipe can hold that easily. People don't understand that when they fill their guns this way, they get water in their tank. And when their guns break, they don't understand that it may be from water. So you don't get a reliable answer to this. I don't fill anything without a fill throttle and fill with high pressure ambient temperature air. So all condensate is out.

@@shotdown4167 So big airtank wich need to be fill to 300bar with hand pump is suicide 😁 This compressor is not so expencive. From aliexpress cost 200 euro with delivery and pum 580cc airtank from 150 bar to 300bar for 2 min 😁 The compressot work perfect also is wery simple bild and cheep to be repair if stop for some reason.

Interstage cooling. The heat drawn out there does not get amplified during HP compression. You can reduce peak temperature at the high pressure side significantly.

За какво служи малкия бутон до дисплея за температурата забелязах на моя че спира през 10тина минути и не иска да тръгне отново докато не го натисна имам чувството че чисти някакво напрежение от кондензатора или просто моя кондензатор е за смяна

I made it. Its very easy to make a cooper pipe on coil. they simply wind the pipe around the handle of a shovel

Google : "медна тръба ф6х1мм цена" Важното е да е 1мм дебелина за да държи повече налягане. Мисля,че на ф6х1мм и даваха към 160бара максимално налягане. За първа степен на компресора е ОК. Там налягането е доста по ниско.

Можели да се ползва антифриз вместо вода?

Слага се дестилирана вода ,примерно 8-10 литра и в нея се слага 200 грама хубав антифриз за БМВ например,защото бмвтата са с алуминиеви блокове и глави. Главата на компресора е алуминиева и чист антифирз ще я прецака.Добавянето на малко антифриз предпазва от корозия и замръзване.

This truly works. Thanks for the idea. I used about 1.2 meters length of 6mm diameter copper tube and bent it around (not coiled) so that I can fit it within the existing cabinet. Much faster filling of my home-made PCP air rifle. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYDcdKJ7a52gf7c
