Here's a script for a KZbin video where Chadtronic reacts to "TV DX from Tallahassee (Tropo 1991": --- [INTRO] *[Chadtronic sits in his usual setup, excitedly looking at the camera]* Chadtronic: "Hey, what’s up, guys! It’s Chadtronic here, and today we’re diving into a blast from the past with a video titled 'TV DX from Tallahassee (Tropo 1991).' Now, I was only two years old back in 1991, so I have no memories of this era, but I’m super excited to see what TV looked like back then! Let’s jump right in!" --- [VIDEO PLAYBACK BEGINS] [Chadtronic plays the video, occasionally pausing to react]* Chadtronic: "Whoa, look at those graphics! They’re so retro! It’s like a time capsule of television. I can’t believe this was the norm back in the day." [Pauses the video]* Chadtronic: "Did you hear that? They mentioned 'The Cosby Show' and 'The Simpsons.' Those were iconic! I can’t imagine watching them on a screen like that. It’s like they were really trying to connect with the community. Nowadays, it’s all about national programming. I love this local vibe!" [Pauses again]* Chadtronic: "And what’s with the phone number for news updates? Can you imagine calling a number to get news? That’s wild! I guess that was the original 'on-demand' service, huh?" --- [FINAL THOUGHTS] [As the video wraps up]* Chadtronic: "Wow, that was a trip down memory lane! Even though I wasn’t around to experience it, I can appreciate how much television has evolved since then. It’s fascinating to see how far we’ve come in terms of technology and programming." I remember WSRE 23 in Pensacola very well. I would wake up early to watch the sign on in middle school. Early 2000s.

@@checkerboy3469 I’m not familiar with DXing or how it works or how those who do it are able to get stations from that far away

@@checkerboy3469 Tropospheric refraction may allow a station's signal to follow the curvature of the earth, and Sporadic-E skip may reflect signals back to Earth (typically about 1600km distance, almost never for paths shorter than 900km, especially over lakes and oceans).

WDAU calls were former resided on a CBS station in Wilkes-Barre, W-YOU is now its callsign for that. WKRG just branded themselves “24 Hour News Source” but why they show CBS and syndicated shows outside the news hours?

I just got news that there is going to be another nationwide EAS on September 28, 2016. I think you should record all the stations in Ft. Myers (that you can record) that air the EAS. The time of the EAS is on that date 9/28/16 at 2:20 PM. Nowadays, these national tests have a event code of it's own, which is NPT (instead of EAN), which means National Public Test.
