I would like to congratulate the people producing this, it's well done and finally out of that eternal school students route. I like the clothing, the locations, etc. On the other hand, something that I think about you guys in the east is that either you go too little or too much. Either you have young guys (with all their hormones) taking months to give the first kiss (an not even mention sex) or you do what you did here showing the rape of a woman. OK, it makes all sense in the story, she is married to the guy, men had rights over women then, but even so, that is rape and I think that was too much and unnecessary. I know that it is something that indeed still happens now in real life, but I see no sense in including that in a BL story.
