You're killing me James! You have to harvest the plants every day or you won't get new growth, they will just sit there. They don't stack each day they simply hang out as they are until they are harvested.

I knew you were going to say that! But.. with the changes if you watch each new day if you leave the flowers you only get a certain number. Like 4 Snapdragons or 1 Orchid. If you leave them and come back the next day you won't have 8 Snapdragons and 2 Orchids on the same plant. So it's like with the changes they won't respawn if you don't harvest them. I had Orchids in three days but I saw the troubles you were having and grafted eight plants and harvested every day to get them. Just try it for a couple of days.. we've had weeks of trying it without harvesting. You need Orchids!

In Sweden we have to go to school and work in snow blizzards. Sweden is up north so we kinda ignores even the worst weather during the winter. This summer has been a different story thou. Such high risk for fires spreading that u aren't allowed to have a barbecue on your own lawn.

Yeah school will usually always be open but the parents can write if their children are unable to attend school due to snow. Think I only ever had one time where school was closed and we literally had over 1 meter of snow fall during the night and no one was prepared.

Norwegian here. Never experienced a snow day myself, but I've heard of exactly one snowday we had. It was so cold outside the schools heating systems couldn't keep up (if I remember correctly), and that's the only reason they closed the schools.

For the orchids, my sims had a holiday with the flower bunny and it dropped like three of them around my house. Also, I bought a flower pack for when they’re in season (I think they’re in season in winter, I forget exactly when though) and there were some in there as well

In Poland we have plenty of snow in winter (past few years were unusually warm, but I remember blizzards when I was in primary school) and through my 12 years of school I never had a day off because of the snow, even when there was over 50 centimeters on the pavements. Of course many people stayed at home on those days, but it was their parents decision and later they had to justify their absence as when you miss school because you are sick or out of town.

Get a bonsai tree they help raise your gardening skill and are a cool decoration ! Also get Sebastian to out and get Christmas rose ,dahlias ,snowdrop ,fang flower,catnip,wolfsbane and the chamomiles then u have all flowers apart from the grafting ones!

I can’t like the English accent as I live with it every day, it’s never really been a thing. I like the welsh accent the most, or a gentle Scottish one. Also, what type of English accent do you like the most? For s small country we have a kit of different ways to pronounce things.

When I lived in Pennsylvania we would only get off school if it was a full on blizzard, or a 2 hour delay, but while living in Virginia where they are less prepared for snow they cancel work and school when there is over an inch of snow.

I went to school in many many blizzards. We were allowed only a certain number of snow days that were saved for when there was extreme snowfall overnight that caused people to not be able to leave there driveways (about 12 inches or more) or when there was a ton of ice that causes the roads to be undriveable. They don't really care about the students that had to walk up to 2 miles to get to school so temperature closings are rare but do happen when it drops about -10°f (about -23°c) or so.

So I'm Canadian and I only got one snow day in my entire life. The only places that get snow days are places (like the southern states) that aren't used to getting snow. We are hardy people and don't let snow get in our way.

Going back in time to watch this series. I lived in Alaska for 8 years and my kids went to school in whiteouts (worse than blizzards)... but it was Alaska and although we lived in an isolated village school buses stopped at every house so kids weren't in any danger. Roads were ice but scraped & grooved. That said we had a polar bear alert system so we knew when not to let them out to play. Now we're in South Carolina (semi-tropical) and the kids sometimes missed school due to hurricanes. My oldest now lives in California with Earthquakes and fires. Everyplace has it's good and bad.

In Michigan where I live, we don't have snow days unless the roads are have been cleared or are drivable, which is always because the public services clear the road very early. We only have cold days if the weather is below zero and the feels like is below -15 .

So James, I watched your videos daily throughout my pregnancy because I was mostly bed ridden. I am currently wayyy behind on this series because I was in the hospital for so long recovering from having my little girl and now I am adjusting to live with a premature newborn. BUT, I wanted to mention that just now since the baby is sleeping on me, I sat down to watch this video, and as soon as she heard your voice she opened her eyes and started looking around for the source! Growing up in Canada I can say that its very rare you get blizzard days and even if buses get cancelled the schools are still open and kids who walk are still expected at school. Its really more likely to get a bus cancellation for ice on the road but still, walkers have to show up.

In Seattle, we don’t get that much snow, so we don’t have a lot of infrastructure to deal with it. So things shut down for snow fairly easily. Places that are more prepared seem to stay open.

Grew up in South Dakota and we had school everyday even during a blizzard.Unless there was like 7ft of show that dropped over night, and they couldnt get the roads plowed in time.(witch rarely happened the plow drivers were way to efficient at their job if you ask me.) In Canada, you go to school in blizzards all the time. The only way to get a 'snow day' is when the snow is tall enough to block your front door (about 3/4th of a meter.) Or if the ice is too slippery and it's dangerous to drive. But the school buses would get cancelled all the time. My mom always said if the school bus is cancelled then it's a snow day for the family. 😂

Rewatching this in 2022 and remembering how crazy it made me to watch James never harvest the flowers. No new growth, doesn't use the flowers to help pay the bills, fertilizes with mushrooms which is pretty much worthless.....and he asks how he can get Sebastian's gardening skill up as he has Luna fertilize and evolve the plants. Oh, James, why do I click on every episode so eagerly when I know it's going to make me pull my hair out in frustration every time?

Here in Norway we never get a day off, no matter how much it snows. If buses stop, you walk. If the snow is heavy you have to plan walking earlier. I've grown up with winters where we get anywhere from two to six metres of snow, and i've never had a day off school

You could supersell, buy a fish tank (I would recommend the dine out tank) then purchase fish to fertilise with, also researching the plants helps alot with evolutions try to do it regularly.
