This is very funny and may appear illegal to same people. However, consider that is some countries hacking may not be a serious offense. This is actually one of my favorite videos since pranks are excellent when no one understands what is happening.

What I love about this hack is that it proves that these people are not journalists;they're only scripted talking heads. If they had participated in preparing those stories they could have winged it by talking off the cuff.It also illustrates the vulnerability of the technology. Typed scripts would have been hack proof and more likely to have been reviewed and modified by the on- air staff,not a hacker from a remote location.

I work in TV and autocues (or teleprompters) do not run on networks that connect to the internet. All networks are localised, for the very reason to prevent something like this happening

Don't call it fake, if you haven't actually worked a teleprompter, I have done this before, its not that hard, its really fun too. Most teleprompters are on networked computers, if you are inside the studio and don't c are about being fired. go for it, real easy. :)

I don't get it, why does the writing generator is connected to internet? (because you obviously used a network to go into it) But I don't uderstand why they'd put it on a network. The teleprompt module is usually independant from the outside, that's why you have to use the bigass keyboard to write down the teleprompt text instead of using common computer... Maybe I'm wrong, I didn't be in a studio for a while...but I'd like an explanation
