The way the ref was cradling and comforting poor Dwayne really captured the essence of early 90’s TV. I like to think they went out for rootbeer floats afterwards, and Dwayne does the straw wrapper blow gun trick and nails the ref in the eye...And it freezes right on the ref making a goofy face, covering his eye, theme music plays and credits roll. And that’s how the first ep of “Dwayne & The Ref” ends.

Watching the 2008 one reminds me of when we would play bull rush at karate as kids. A bunch of kids vs 2 grown men who had absolutely no difficulty tackling you to the ground. If they got one hand on you then it was basically already over, they could just pick you up and put you on the ground with no resistance. The difference though is there was about 30 of us against 2 not 2 vs 2. And also they were not trying to kill us because we were like 10.

I remember him building a house for a family with a girl who was in a wheelchair, so everything was wheelchair friendly for her. Also insane children's rooms that they would grow out of in a few years
