If the interview happened nowadays, 'Lynda' would spend the time complaining about how she has been treated by sexist Hollywood, 'Johnny' would crack a Trump joke, then at his urging, Lynda would smash an egg on her head for laughs.

When I think of Wonder Woman in reality, Lynda Carter still pops up. I've had no desire to see the new DCEU films with Gal Gadot. I just don't think she does the character as well in what I've seen thus far. Lynda was not a great actress in the early Wonder Woman episodes but she developed. Gal Gadot? I still hear she's mediocre. The only other person to me that physically embodies his character well was Christopher Reeve. I don't hate the other actors who've played Superman but they just don't have what he did. Their films and TV shows also lack the charm Reeve's first two films had.

It’s amazing how much time goes by. In one hand, when your little, life seems to go by so slow. But as you grow older, time seems to travel much faster. Nonetheless, the Johnny Carson Show will always be in my memories 😊

Love the interviewer. He is very respectful towards this beautiful woman. Given the time.

Very good point. Many interviewers today would have made jokes about her outfit, body and her winning the USA pageant. Johnny knew how to do an interview!

Johnny wrote the book on how to be a late-night host, and how to show his guests in the best possible light.

With Orson getting hit by a car in 2020, everyone else in this video is dead. Lynda is still going strong at age 69 and looks great.

At the end of WW84 she looked really bad. It’s a shame the plastic surgery caught up to her.

Lynda had an honesty and innocense about her and was perfect for the iconic WW role...

Now That’s Wonder Woman. A Timeless, Classic, beauty. Stunning. A once in a lifetime beauty. A Stunning Woman. I’ve commented on other sites previously about what a beautiful woman is was & still is. The type of woman men would have gone to war to possess or win her Love & Attention. Simply Exquisite, Classic , Beauty.

I had the biggest crush on Lynda Carter when I use to watch wonder woman in the mid 70's. Im 55 now and I still have a crush on her.

She’s taller than Johnny. He was a super host. She the personification of Grace and intelligence. Beautiful and well spoken. Her beauty holds up against the best of today’s crop. In 1975 I had finished my time in the service. And was making $400/month as a computer operator. $90/week ain’t much.

Interesting. What's $90/wk today in LA, adjusted for inflation?
@alohajinnypark186 Жыл бұрын
never considered Johnny Carson as tall. He said to be 5'10". Lynda Carter 5'9". so with heels yes.. she should be taller. over 6 ft.

@@wavstudionet $489.57, which is definitely not enough to live on in LA.

Holy Cow! Thank you, so much for posting this. What nostalgia. Not that I've ever seen this, before my time, but awesome stroll down the time tunnel. REALLY?!?!! Just "$90 dollars"?!
@darkwood7773 жыл бұрын
That's actually quite a lot for unemployment at that time. Minimum wage was $84/wk in1975, and the average income was around $250/wk. She obviously made a lot doing the pilot in order to bump her unemployment checks from $27/wk to $90.
