I found out about that rebrand thanks to Canal 15 Analógico's video about failed rebranding. (QEPD Fenastro) But yeah... It sucks that they're associated by the dictatorship... PS. Here's some interesting fact about City2, City2 was in fact BBC(not the British television network) or Banahaw Broadcasting Network. It was operated in 1973 until 1986 when the first people power revolution was occurred. Following the declaration of martial law in 1972, ABS CBN was seized by the government and one of cronies of the late president, Ferdinand Marcos, Roberto Benidicto, helmed the operations of the said shutdown TV network and turn it into BBC2. It lasts only up to 1986 when ABS CBN was brought back to the Lopezes and they're back on air for the first time since martial law declared.
