TV Turning Itself OFF and ON.....FIX!!!!!

TV turning itself off and on may be a button short in the remote. Remove the batteries to see if the remote is the cause. If your problem goes away, check inside the remote. The contacts are shorted by rubber impregnated pads. If there is too much of the contact solution, it will continue to activate the contacts without the rubber pad pressure. Remove the "oil" with a swab and be sure to remove the oil in the recesses.

Changed battery's in TV remote and the problem kept happening. Then changed the firestick batteries after having it unplugged for over a hour due to another channel! Found this channel and the problem fixed straight away! Amazon Fire Stick was my issue. Thank you for doing this video. Was thinking I was going to have to buy a new tv. I tried the tv remote. when your TV starts to turn on and off take your smartphone camera and turn it on with the remote facing the TV, Look at the front of the remote and look to see if a glow is present, this can be done anytime to see what I mean, your camera will pick up IR. it's a simple way to test to see if your remote is sending a signal ( keep in mind it won't tell you what signal as each input is a series of fast pulses.)

I took the batteries out of Sharp smart tv remote, nothing happened. I just took out the batteries for the Amazon fire cube with Alexa remote and it seemed to solve the problem of the TV randomly turning on and off! Idk why Amazon fire cube remote control would be the problem. Any ideas?
