I liked this group. Colette reminds me of many ethnic Irish mothers and grandmothers here in the Northeast US. Bossy, brash, overbearing - maybe those aren't endearing qualities to some people, but women like that are great in a crisis and you miss them when they're gone.

I don't actually think she is bossy nor overbearing. If anything, she is accommodating. The score of 9 was ridiculous for food she hardly touched or enjoyed so I think she was over compensating or being too nice. Her voice, being quite husky and deep, may throw people into thinking she is somewhat demanding. Her opinions hence sound overbearing when in fact they are not. The other contestants were quite vicious in their opinions on her cooking night which I felt was unnecessary. She had my sympathy. There is nothing wrong with breastfeeding in public. If a baby is hungry its hungry. This isnt the 1850s. In Church? Well I am not a Church goer so I have no idea of the protocol there.

Goodness, cooking duck confit from scratch only has three ingredients and she can't managed that. The recipe hardly involves any work and the resulting dish is magnificent. Duck confit from a tin is mushy duck. The Irish and Pauline seem to have eating disorders. Don't like this, don't like that. Why are they doing in a cooking program?
