The main difference between Iskon and Ramkrishna mission is that no monk of the iskon has seen God or has special spiritual power or divinity. Their philosophy is only theoretical and has little realization of them. Therefore, there are many misinterpretations and contradictions in their philosophy, at least according to Vedanta and so none have reached highest spritual goal by their paths .But in Ramkrishna mission, many monks have seen God or they have special spiritual power or divinity . So their realization and explanation is very perfect and there is no contradiction .

what is sad as a Bengali I regularly visited mayapur ISKCON temple and Belur math of Shri Ramakrishna. gave them equal respect. Now if I have to pick a side it will be Vivekananda and jato mat tato path. Because now I found out Prabhupad called any sant not following ISKCON a bogus, rascal and fool. Including Anandmayee ma, Maharishi Mahesh etc.. Basically all competing Hindu groups abroad. This is how Hindus are always divided and defeated. What a shame.

It is absolutely a personal preference of the individual sadhaka to choose what path he/she will follow. Tantrik traditions have been around since the 6th century, leading countless Yogi/Sadhakas to self-realization. Also, one must remember and acknowledge at Thakur Sri Rama Krishna did sadhana in Vrindavan - this is well documented. His realizations and experiences from Vrindavan Visit is also well documented.

I feel fortunate to have been introduced to three organizations in my life - Iskcon, Ramakrishna Mission, and Ramana Ashram. I have been following Srila Prabhupada, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa & Swami Vivekananda, and Ramana Maharshi from the age of 10 and for the past 25 years. My life would not be the same without these mahatmas. The first and foremost thing that we need to understand is millions of people follow Ramakrishna Mission around the world. So, mocking/insulting Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda will deeply hurt the millions around the world. Is it acceptable to mock/insult others to spread the words of Krishna? Aren't we bothered about the followers of organizations other than Iskcon? Is it such a small thing to hurt millions? Can a sincere devotee mock others who are not followers of Iskcon? Don't we care about the feelings of millions following other organizations? Can someone who cares about peace and harmony in society do this? Can someone sweet at heart do this? Iskcon is built on the below foundation. 1. Only Krishna is the supreme God. 2. Iskcon and Bhakti is the only way to reach Krishna. Ramakrishna is built on the below foundation. 1. God is supreme and God has infinite forms - Rama, Krishna, Siva, Durga, Ganesh, Christ, Budha, Allah ................................... 2. All religions are true and lead to the same God. There is no need to quarrel. Each can follow their religion to reach God. So, obviously, the above points of Ramakrishna's mission do not seem correct to followers of Iskcon which is totally understandable. But it does not give permission to insult/mock the followers of Ramakrishna's mission or any other organization. The real problem here is not about what Amogh Lila Prabhuji said. The issue is about the way Amogh Lila Prabhuji mocked/insulted Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda. If we do not agree with other organizations, it is totally fine to express disagreement and even debate. But what is the necessity to mock/insult others if we don't agree with them? For example, Amogh Lila Prabhuji can say nicely like below without mocking/insulting Sri Ramakrishna. "It is not possible to reach God in so many ways as told by Sri Ramakrishna. Bhakti is the only way". Sri Ramakrishna's followers will not be hurt when they hear the above words said without insulting Sri Ramakrishna or Swami Vivekananda. It is totally understandable, that Iskcon followers believe that Krishna is the supreme God and that Bhakti is the only way to reach him. This quarrel is not for the first time. It is very common to think that whatever organization/religion/path I am following is only correct and perfect and others are incorrect. This will be there until mankind exists on earth. But because of this thinking, people fought for centuries by hurting/insulting followers of other paths/organizations/religions. THE MATURE FOLLOWER OF ANY ORGANIZATION WILL NOT INSULT FOLLOWERS OF OTHER ORGANIZATION THE MATURE FOLLOWER OF ANY RELIGION WILL NOT INSULT FOLLOWERS OF OTHER RELIGION The important message from Sri Ramakrishna is "All religions are true and the same God is manifested in various religions/paths. Each can follow their path and reach the same God and there is no need to quarrel". Though, I have the knowledge that the sayings of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda will appear incorrect to followers of Iskcon. Somehow, I felt pain and literally got tears for a moment when I saw Amogh Lila Prabhuji mocking Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa & Swami Vivekananda whom I have been sincerely following for the past 25 years. Mocking is really painful and this triggers restlessness, hatred, argument, and fight. And this can destroy peace and harmony in society. The advanced followers of Ramakrisha's mission can totally understand this incident and probably may laugh and not get disturbed. However, the followers who are not advanced and major in number can get easily disturbed. Some may immediately develop hatred towards Amogh Lila Prabhu and Iskcon. So, this is not the way to spread the knowledge of Krishna. We need to remember that in history, more bloodshed in the name of religion and faith than for any other reason. And we should be careful about this in the modern era of technology where words spread faster than ever. This is just a simple example to understand how situations arise where people fight in the name of religion and cut throats. By the way, the greatness of these Mahatmas such as Srila Prabhupada, Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, and Ramana Maharshi does not reduce if someone insults them. IT TAKES 1000 PIOUS LIFETIMES TO UNDERSTAND THEM AND THEIR WORK TRULY. But the pain point here is millions of followers of any faith get hurt if anyone insults their loved one. Yes, it's literally millions that get hurt. So, I beg every follower of Iskcon - Let us spread the words of Krishna without mocking/insulting the other faiths. IT IS TOTALLY FINE TO DISAGREE. BUT IT IS NOT OK TO MOCK/INSULT OTHERS. NO ONE HAS THAT RIGHT. KRISHNA WILL NOT BE HAPPY FOR THAT BEHAVIOR. I beg every follower of Ramakrishna Mission to understand the foundation of Iskcon. As per Iskcon, Krishna is the only God and Bhakti is the only way. So, naturally, Ramkrishna's sayings seem to be wrong to followers of Iskcon. So, this kind of situation may happen and this is the opportunity to show tolerance and love. Please don't ever hate/spread hate on Amogh Lila Prabhu. He is a wonderful devotee. A true follower of the Ramakrishna Mission does not hate anyone even the one who insults as everyone is the child of God. I hope someday the top management of Iskcon.org sees this comment and takes this incident as a serious example and makes sure to instruct all the Iskcon preachers all over the world never to repeat this kind of mistake again. Note: My only intention is to make sure that we spread the words of Srila Prabhupada humbly by loving all and not by insulting millions.

Purushottam Ram and Sri Krishna were meat and fish eaters. The Vedas mention beef eating. It is well known that the last meal of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, consisted of pork. Animal sacrifices were common those days, as it is today. The well known example I can give is Ashvamedha, where a horse was sacrificed. There are many such examples. Alcohol is offered to Kaal Bhairav and many sadhus smoke.

Joto Mat Tatho Pat - As many faiths so many paths - what it means? Sri Ramakrishna: The Embodiment of All Religions by Swami Nirantarananda - a monk of Ramakrishna Order. Ramakrishna practised the disciplines of three major streams of Hinduism - Tantra, Vaishnavism and Vedanta. That he also practised Islam and Christianity, though brought up in an orthodox Hindu brahmin family in nineteenth-century Bengal, is all the more amazing. He meticulously practised each discipline to its fulfilment, not overlooking even so-called external marks and rituals. For instance, he wore red cloth, ashes, vermilion, and rudraksha beads in order to attain success in Tantra sadhana. At the time of his Vaishnava sadhana he donned the traditional bhek and wore white cloth, white sandal-paste, and garlands of tulsi beads. In order to practise Vedanta sadhana, he performed the shraddha ceremony and viraja homa. He offered his sacred thread and tuft of hair into the scarificial fire, took full monastic vows, and wore ochre robes. In his vatsalya and madhura bhavas, Ramakrishna did not hesitate to adorn and dress himself in feminine attire. He would become totally one with the faith he practised. Ramakrishna once said, 'I had to practise each religion for a time - Hinduism, Islam, Christianity. Furthermore, I followed the paths of the Saktas, Vaishnavas and Vedantists. I realized that there is only one God toward whom all are travelling, but the paths are different.' Now this amogh lila will decide swamiji is siddh purush or not. Even his own organization is not backing him. There are different ways to reach the ultimate. And of course this ultimate is not a physical location, amogh lila probably didn't understand this one. It is more of an inner journey.
