TVAN on Tour - Brisbane River Valley | Tiz Tam Fam Nature Reserve

With a welcome break from a month of wet windy weather, we head up the Brisbane River Valley for a night camping on a private nature reserve behind the D'Aguilar National Park.
Tiz Tam Fam is listed on Hipcamp and have a number of private bush camp sites that are very secluded and serene. We chose the Creek Campground, a flat and well grassed site beside the clear running Reedy Creek. The access road is a good dirt track with a few gravel creek water crossings that offered no problems, but the sloping access to the camp site could be slippery in the wet so a 4WD is still recommended.
