even if this ditches the gay and just follows the common and/or Ren's route, I just really really hope they expand on the other characters as well, ESPECIALLY Clear, since in any route other than his own we really don't know anything about him, and I think his story is such a beautiful thing. praying he's in it without his mask, otherwise I will be severely disappointed. (to be perfectly honest, even if they squished the story around, clear without his mask would be good enough for me) but I want Ryuuhou and Koujaku's conflict to be included, and Noiz's story and all that too. Because I feel the expansions on the characters in their own respectable routes is what made the game special. Animating this and not making it turn out underwhelming is quite a task, but if they get it right this could be so, so good. obviously the best thing would be if they were to animate each route separately, but no way THATS gonna happen

the only thing is if the anime will be 12 episodes long since I doubt they can really fit everyone's information on that short length. It would be awesome if they can give the anime at least 25-26 episodes and even if it's a bit cramped would be good if they can tell at least include the major points on everyone's route. And, I agree with you on Clear's I won't want him to have that mask from start to end coz that would totally be annoying and disappointing.

PRAYING that the anime will be more than 12, they'd really miss out a ton of stuff if it was that short. It would work if they were to split the anime into two seasons too. Ahh, whatever they choose to do I hope they make the right choice and this anime isn't a flub (AND THAT I GET TO SEE MY BABY WITHOUT HIS MASK ....PLease......)

I COMPLETELY agree with you! I tooooooooooottaly feel and hope that they show Clear's face at least somewhere between the episodes. It'll also be so weird if it's just 12 episodes, it's not gonna work for me, in my opinion. I also hope they make OVA's, and make each one out of each character's route! That would be SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. Each probably 40 minutes. As if it could happen. ;~;....*sigh* A fangirl could only dream. But seriously, even without too much of the yaoi, the story is just...heartbreaking. The game felt so real. I SUPER hope they execute this right!

I have looked it up, and most likely, there will be no sex and stuff. It would be hard to animate it all or some of it considering you would have to do each route for all the characters to get their spot. But dmmd isnt just about sex, so the anime will still be great!! i cant wait for it to come out!

I don't know why everyone's complaining about there being no yaoi (Though it'd still be nice if they left in stuff like Noiz's kiss in the common route). If they wan't more views, they might leave it out, and focus more on the game's actual plot. Let's be happy that we get to see everyone in action. I can't wait to see it.

I really hope for Sei. He only makes a major appearance in Ren's route which lots of people here have the opinion that it'll be the one most likely to be followed. He's that type of character that at the end you'll notice how really important he is. And then there's the other characters with their own backgrounds. There's so much going on in DMMD, it definetely won't be an easy job to include everything. v.v

Seems like this will follow Ren's route. I think it's right though since Ren might be the 'true route' of the game. (I personally haven't layed this game yet but I know almost all of the characters and some conflicts in each route.) I hope they will take Clear's mask out too. His real face is just too cute!

The plot of Dramatical Murder was incredible, as well as the art and character designs. I didn't even care about yaoi tbqh. Nice plus, though :V So I hope the anime still captures everything else. I mean, this trailer has be so hyped. It looks so gorgeous-- I'm so excited! Let's hope the translators subtitle this as soon as possible!!!

I have a feeling that 1) they will follow Rens, because it is in fact the true route and answers all the questions, 2) there won't be any yaoi, though it will most likely be hinted at since it is in fact canon. 3) Since its only possible for them to do one route, they will probably have episodes dedicated to each character and his back story,
