There's an 18+ rated manhwa with the same story yet not in the isekai genre. The protagonist, Kaldrach, was being pushed around and abused by his "noble comrades" due to his commoner background. At the time they're facing the demon lord who offers them to join his army, he immediately betrays his comrades due to being at the end of his boiling point. Later in the story, he realizes the demon king's army is more humane and trustworthy of his loyalty and their leader is the guy that he can put his trust in due to his previous boss being a total scum and sleazebag that abused his subjects' lives into poverty. The title of this manhwa is "Bought By The Demon Lord Before The Ending".

The Manga is actually pretty good. All the other heavenly kings are female love interests. Would not surprise me if the Demon King ended up being a female under the armor as well. Either way Demon King was a very supportive boss.

The translation for the manga is good, Up to about Ch30 after that... I think the previous transtranslation team went on break & temps took over. It goes from awesome & hilarious too dying brain-cells. Also Demonlord "Kaiser" is fricken the best Boss ever.
