[Monstrous]
A giant Buddha statue is unearthed in a small rural town. The mayor believes that it will change the town into a major tourist attraction. However, a catastrophe starts to grow. A centuries-old curse is unleashed from the statue, and it starts to eat up people's souls and make them non-human. Jung Ki-hoon, as archaeologist tries to seek the truth behind the paranormal phenomenon.

I watched this, too. I give 4.8 / 5 of fun .. Umm WAIT !! For some comments. In the series, that's just a sculpture made of sand with a demon inside. That was not the real Buddha na - ..- ' . The true Buddha is his teaching that teaches you how to handle any sadnesses in your life to get your mind back to a normal balanced life. that's it.

I'm a fan of K-pop and K-drama, but I don't like this, don't use the Buddha statue for such things, Lord Buddha is a great and kind noble, it's impossible for someone like him to harm another person even in the slightest, he has lived a sarasankeyya kalpa lakshayak times. Okay, It shouldn't have been Buddha. People turn into zombies by looking into his peaceful eyes? Instead, you can borrow any Demon from Indian or Chinese or Japanese mythology. Plus, Koreans should think beyond Zombies. Yeah, You guys make good zombie movies but every horror doesn't mean Zombie. Watch Noroi(Japan -2005) or Incantation (Taiwan - 2021).
