Here I presenat an album of photographs pf the ancient city of Tver in Russia. The photographs, were taken in 1910, the great pioneering colour photographer, Sergey M. Prokudin-Gorsky.
Tver was formerly the capital of a powerful medieval state and a model provincial town in the Russian Empire. The city t is situated at the confluence of the Volga and Tvertsa Rivers.
