yeah I actually how shaw's character adds to the dynamic, and her frustration is funny in contrast to finch's anxiety. I believe that she fitted right in.

well, i don't hate her, but i'm not feeling her either....so far. like someone said, i don't see the need for her. at least the dog has a reason to be there....just saying. shaw will definately have to grow on me, if she can.

I don't understand the necessity of this character. I thought Carter and Fusco were there to help when Reese was in a sticky situations. If someone sees something I don't - please tell me why this character is needed.

"Plus girls do it better anyway." It that what feminism is? I'm not with skyclasp; I have no problem with the addition of her character. But "girls do it better?" Do what better? Seduce heterosexual men? Ok, yup. But past that? I think those kind of remarks are counter productive and hypocritical. If Jim Caveizel said "plus men do it better," he'd be skewered in the press. "Yeah, men are just better at this spy/killing stuff." He'd never hear the end of it.

It's actually the opposite. They have had to write her into the show. That's the problem. Writing in an additional storyline to accomodate this unneeded character may take away from the main characters. The characters who have made the show popular. Additional characters are great when they add to the show, but Shaw just seems like a distraction.

the Shaw character is terrible & this actress is just a bad a fit. Seriously - She wins standoffs/gun fights b/c ppl take their eyes off her...& no, not b/c shes unassuming - No need for a stunt-woman, theyll just show an open escape window - How does she get a briefcase from a man killed in public & (was focused as) being crowded upon? It doesnt matter, she just shows up w/ it later Shaw couldve entered The Machine's data stream b/c shes that little & the world is made that easy for her!

What is the point of Shaw's character? What were the writers thinking in conjuring up some man hating feminist unemotional nutcase who turns up makes some feminist remarks, drinks beer, pretends she is badass then disappears and reappears to spew out some more feminist BS...there is no purpose to her annoying character. I mean these action scenes are unrealistic obviously, but when a man is the centrepiece of a shootout or takes out a whole group it's more watchable and believable. When you see a woman do it, it just looks silly.
