The 2nd and last skits were pretty much in the earlier days of Kylie Mole. The 2nd one especially, as it wasn't as so refined as Kylie eventually became. And her freckles were much more defined in the 2nd skit. Her freckles softened a bit more over time. I used to love Kylie Mole so much. Being a teenager myself around the late 80's. And living in what was a low to middle class neighbourhood. I could definitely relate to the Kylie Mole character.

I remember this era, I was at school then. It was, for some reason, between probably 1976 and 1979, acceptable behaviour for us male youth to refer to teenage girls and either rags or moles. For example, you would be with your mates waiting at the bus stop and a girl would be standing there or walking past on her way to school and we would all call out either “rag” or “mole”. Just for no reason. I look back now and actually ashamed of myself.

yeah they have different words now. there is a split though, the young fellas dont want to be misogynistic, they sometimes know what that is and think its shameful. but how it used to be was like you said, and then the fellas got a bit older and realised that maybe it wasn't a nice and respectful thing to do, a bit like calling a bloke a dickhead or a wog or a poof or something. thing about dickhead....it still works. call the sheilas that maybe.

There should be American subtitles for this video for the people who don't speak Britainish

Is this a joke?! She's Australian not British. As a Brit I wish our chavs were this good
@gemfyre8553 жыл бұрын
Kylie speaks fluent Bogan which is definitely an Australian dialect.

@@cannibalbunnygirl No need to be rude, I meant British - not Britainish. My mistake.

To be fair to you, she does have a bit of a faux-British accent. She is Aussie though.
@AnastasiaLUVSU Жыл бұрын
It's English. What fucking subtitles do you need? I'm American btw? And I highly suspect you're a troll or a foreigner who can't tell the difference.

It was of the era, most like this just for the nostalgia of remembering seeing Kylie on a Sunday night in the late 80s
