I don't get why people were offended by the whole "Echo, Raven, Murphy, and Emori are my family" thing. He didn't mention Monty or Harper, he mentioned only the ones who were in the valley. He was saying he had to do what he had to do to protect the ones in the valley, 'his family', just like Clarke was protecting Madi who is her family. But that doesn't mean B and C are not family. Bell obviously loves Clarke, and protected her from getting executed. Bellamy was trying to explain his actions to Clarke.

Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me That's kind of how I was trying to look at it too. I feel like sometimes if I try to dig too deep into particular scenes like that and nitpick then I won't enjoy the show anymore, bellarke or no bellarke. And I mostly just want to enjoy the show.
