Ehh... I mean, it was a really good show. It would've been one of the greatest ones if it weren't for that completely pointless 7 years of separation. It didn't move the plot in any way and it had no lasting consequences seeing as the show ended with the female lead as a high school student once again. It was so, so good until that happened and honestly it kind of ruined the show for me. Then again, the Time Skip is one of my most disliked drama tropes, so... But it still has a main couple with AMAZING chemistry, interesting and well-rounded characters, humor to die for, musical score nearing perfection and mostly great plot.

I could never feel the same or stay in doubt after watching the drama anymore, small wonder it's such a big hit and a legend in the K-drama industry. I have to say this's got to be the best K-drama of all time, throughout the past, in the present and still a legend in the future, just unsurpassed. From the soundtracks: masterpieces unfailingly evoke melancholy nostalgic emotions; to the lines, making every viewer want to cry everytime we reread them, just so true, philosohpical, deep, touching, heart-breaking, all at the same time. The actors potrayed the characters so well, as if the plot was written for them, and the chemistry was wonderfully surreal. The plot, let's give a big hand to the plot writer of the film, 'cuz it's philosophical, surprisingly sophisticated yet logically-linked with sufficient humour to balance between the sullen but romantic and humourous atmosphere throughout the movie.The venues choices are wonderful too, so are the kisses. The perfect timing of the songs is also one noteworthy point. So forth and so on, it's just that everything comes together and complements each other perfectly to take away the tears of so many viewers. The film, the makers and the actors all did a great job, and they all deserve the recognition and awards they receive. Never fails to be my favourite and the one taking up a special place in my heart

This is the best Kdrama I've seen so far. I love stories about love that are richer than just mere love stories like this one. Another gem out there is BETTER DAYS 2019 a Chinese movie that is agonizingly bittersweet and brilliantly performed. It's now my fav and still on dramacool last time I checked.

Gracias Kim Eun Sook por traernos esta joya y por convencer a Gong Yoo que fuese el protagonista, valió mucho la pena esperar tantos años. Goblin es el primer drama surcoreano en llevar el rating para las señales de cable hacia lo más alto. Aunque vinieron dramas futuros incluso con mayor audiencia, Goblin fue el primero en lograrlo, y durante mucho tiempo ningún drama pudo quitarle su lugar de honor.

There really is a Korean chicken chain called "BB.Q Olive Chicken", the same as Sunny's store. We have one near my house, outside Atlanta, and we get take-out from there regularly. Awesome chicken, too! They have a bunch of TVs on the walls and play various K-Pop and K-drama clips on them, including scenes from Goblin featuring Sunny's store, which I thought was quite amusing. I said "Oh, scenes from Goblin!" And the Korean teenager working the cash register was surprised that an old white guy knew that show. LOL
