I wish she didn't get eliminated but she got a lot of hate for being the only idol and a lot of people say she didn't deserve to be a part of this show but let me tell you. She deserves it and more. Her voice is even more better now 12 years in the industry. She gets better year by year. Her voice was so strained here but now her voice is literal perfection. She sounds even better. To say Sohyang didn't sing with emotion is a joke because she did. Hyorin sang with emotion as well. Two different artist who have different ways of conveying emotions. Sohyang tends to showcase emotions through her voice and not so much body language or facial expressions. Hyorin showcases emotions through her voice kind of but also through body language and facial expressions. If you close your eyes and just strictly listen you can't say that there isn't emotion in sohyang's performance. Because of that was the case no one would have cried like they did. Sohyang is someone hyorin looks up to and has admitted it. So I don't see why people are trashing Sohyang when I personally feel both of them did an AMAZING job.

Hyorin is raw, sounds like she's speaking out loud with a melodic voice Sohyang is a clean, rock-ballad lullaby storytelling song. In this case Hyorin is the character singing and sohyang is that song that plays in the background narrating the story. Both are BEAUTIFULLY AMAZING in their own ways.

Fucking shit. Even though she was the first to be eliminated, she has proved us more than necessary with her talent, vocal abilities, and the perfect delivery and capture of emotions that she has definitely gained a soft spot in all the audience's hearts. You can see this by looking at those people' tears streaming down their faces due to being very touched. She was eliminated but people have to realize that she was THE ONLY IDOL participating there against all these old school recognized veteran singers. So like, yeah, it's a pretty big deal, honestly. I listen to Kpop mainly but I have learned to appreciate Korean old songs/ballads once I was introduced to Sistar and from there, I've loved Hyorin. For me, she is the best singer out there in Korea. I personally don't think that people could compare Ailee and Hyorin because Ailee has not received such praise from veteran singers and others. There must a reason why Hyorin has been chosen to go on so many singing TV programs. Very proud of you, girl! Keep going

My mother really loves powerful vocals, and she's listening to songs like that everytime. So she said she never heard someone with such a powerful voice. Her singing technique made her really touched and she said that now she is her "what's that thing called this boy is that". So she meant 'bias'. That's how my mom got into Kpop. I love how Hyorin adds in speed and different tempos to the song. 'Fate' already has dynamics and depth to it, so when she adds in the different tempos, it gives me the impression that she is trying to tell a timeline as how the lines are portrayed. When Hyorin sings the part where she will stay with her partner (whomever) forever, she speeds up the lyrics as compared to the end where she makes a slow and long dramatic effect. I feel this is Hyorin's type of making her special feature of the song.

For those of you who enjoyed this performance, I'd suggest looking up So Hyang's version as well. The two singers have their own styles and conditions, but both portray the song very very beautifully. So Hyang's version brings out a different side of the piece, and it's definitely worth your time.

I really like Hyroins version. But yeah, So Hyangs voice really fits the song to a T. But that doesnt mean Hyorins version is bad. This is the great thing about covers; you get to hear different interpretations. First of all, I dont know what the song is about, but I'm guessing something was lost and the singer is sadly singing about it. I feel that So Hyangs version is in the stage of new/recent sadness which makes you weak, while Hyroins is more of a memories of the sadness and therefore stronger because she's started to move on. Like; So Hyang just recently got dumped or whatever, while it's been some time in Hyroins case. (as i said, i dont know the meaning of the song). So yeah, it's the same song and the same origin, but in different timelapses, and so it has different sounds (of course it's two different singers too). Therefore I find both of them amazing. In my opinion anyway.

I have been following SISTAR ever since 2010 when they debut. Hyorin has always shined more than the other members and has improved a lot through the years. Her stage performance gets always better and better every time, and I enjoyed them a lot. To gets a hole package from dancing to singing it's amazing by its self, but to rock a stage by wearing a simple dress with a simple hairstyle and makeup, and making alf of the audience to fallen tears is incredible. This performance was totally worth it. I have never heared such a clean and soulful stage performance of her, but she totally slay it! That's what a call a queen of stage #TheQueenOfStage ❤️

For me, the original is the sadness of the one who tell the story; Sohyang’s ver is the sadness of anger; and Hyorin’s ver is the sadness of hopelessness. They’re all sad, but differently. You guys will have to agree with me that Hyorin version sounds like a woman who is dying of the painful memories. So Hyangs vocal of course be better! She is the best singer in Korea, who can get over her? But Hyorin make this song way different =))) She got people in tears just by listen to her version. The original or even So Hyangs version is similar, is smooth enough to feel the pain of the song but make less people into tears. Well, it just my opinion =)))))

Can I just say that this Hyolyn isn't in her prime? All those years being in SISTAR and STARSHIPEnt made her very tired and let's face it, SISTAR was carried by Hyolyn and her prime was I would say 2012-2014. This 2015-2017 made her overworked as she was in different guestings. There are times when Hyorin won't even cracked while dancing while singing high notes. I remember when she belted Whenever You Call by Mariah Carey, her falsetto was so good and her high belts and low notes are all clean! And i'm telling you, she can definitely offer more. Please check her latest songs: 9lives and Say My Name. Support this gem. ❤️❤️❤️ She does not even have 1 million subs in YT. 😭😭
