Having that glimmer of hope, I looked carefully at all those pictures in the background, and it seems like SM went through the effort of retaking the same pictures but with 8 members. Still, I loved this performance, despite it being with just 8 members. Sunny covering Jessica's part still irks me a little bit, but I can say that Yoona, Seohyun and Sooyoung has definitely covered Jessica's parts well, especially Yoona. Oh my God, that huskiness at the last chorus, it's so good! Wishing the 8 Soshi members good luck for this year and their next single and Jessica for her fashion brand and her solo US debut, which I'm highly anticipating (any news about Jessica really puts me at ease).

For all the people who said that they were pre recording their voice during live, okay maybe it's true, but TaeYeon et Tiffany sick voices proves that they weren't that day. SNSD can sing, all of them, still every SONE like me feel like something's going to happen to them, like it's their final days but I have to say: since 2007, SNSD was starting from nothing, they got boycotted during Dream Concert... And now look at them. They still strong and I'm pretty sure their next song is going to amaze us again like "Woah, Tiffany can reach that note? Is it really TaeYeon, she looks so pretty!" like Mr.Mr. did to me. Maybe they're not as energetic as new trainees, and not as sexy as them (I have nothing against plastic surgery, SNSD may have plastic surgery but not as much as some new girls group), but come on, we saw them growing. They arrived as fresh girls in "Into the new world" and "Girl's generation", as stylish girls in "Gee", girly girls in "Oh!" and strong girls in "Run Devil Run". They became hot and classy women with "Hoot!", even more with "The boys". Trendy street girls in "I got a boy" and now, they're goddess in "Mr.Mr." (and I don't even talk about all the other songs). They have so much concept, SONE are growing with them, remember the fanwars? I saw a lot of SONE bashing other groups like 2NE1 and Wonder Girls, but now, we are all supporting each other. SNSD and SONE is growing together. The girls had very rude days back then, and I think they'll be more coming. So from now, let's cheer about them, the 9 girls we all known. Jessica too. Don't care about the real reason, we'll never know, we're not with them behind the cameras. You know, living with 9 people with different attitude you barely know before you're with them as a group is a difficult thing. So let's be comprehensive, let our girls live their lives, HAVE BOYFRIENDS (TaeYeon is one of the strongest women in the earth for being able to smile again after all the things that happen to her) and being happy. Right now, it's SNSD. ♥

Sunny is the best at covering for the other girls... til this day she had cover for Taeyeon, Sooyoung & Jessica. She's the only one who mastered the suit to style vocal technique and another reason we all love her covers is because she doesn't try to imitate the other girls but make the line hers. She brings her entire persona into the cover and make like those lines were always hers.

Btw, the reason why i got here is because I am trying to look for an OT8 Hoot performance. I want to see their choreo. Hoot has one of the most awesome choreography but it was specifically choreographed for 9 people. So i just wanna see and appreciate how OT8 adjusted.
