+John Andrews First, I agree with you on Luna and Wendy, they're competent singers, but definitely not on Krystal and Seulgi, Seulgi is average but Krystal is pretty weak in vocals. Solar is currently in between Luna Wendy and Krystal Seulgi. Second, Solar is debuted with certain level of vocal asset, as well as her members, at this moment, Wheein is a bit better than Solar, and Solar is a bit better than Hwasa, they're all still growing on their vocals, it's possible they might soon climb up to be on Luna Wendy's level.

+John Andrews I love Wendy, Seulgi, Luna and Krystal sooo much but I have to disagree with you on this.This is your opinion and I respect it, but I think that Solar's vocal prowess is incredibly far advanced than these girls. Wendy and Luna are crazy talented and both sing so well, but to compare them to Solar is a tough one. Her technique is amazing. I'd put her in the ranks of Hyorin and Eunji. Ailee as well. Seulgi is also an amazing singer and has a lot of room for improvement. As for Krystal, she has a soft and very sweet voice. Not the one that's suited for vocally challenging songs. Oh and one more thing, Solar sings with so much emotion and that's really tough to learn overnight. Many singers sing so well but lack the emotion to deliver and connect with audiences deeply. Just saying. :)

i just love the concept of this show so much. the korean entertainment industry places so much emphasis on looks that i love how this whole thing allows people to just focus on their singing/rapping skills, and also gives the artists an individual platform to sing the songs they want without caring about how they look. i don't really keep up with the competition thing but i think just coming to the show and having this platform would be a great experience to have as a singer, and the singers always enjoy the stage so much, especially girl group/boyband members who can finally break out of the mold of their group identity (:
