I think Mariana has a good chance to get into at least one of those schools. Other than her 4.2 GPA, she’s also done plenty of extra circular activities. What more could a college ask for? I think whether Jude goes to dinner alone or with Callie, it’ll still be weird either way. I sometimes feel like Stef should lighten up a bit. Maybe then she’ll feel a little better

Brandon has good grades and a high gpa too, he's just focused on music so it doesn't matter lol

He did get into Julliard and did so well on his SATs that someone paid money for him to take it for him. But of course he got busted.

It's true though, you should always have backup schools. Like the counselor was telling her while you think you have the best gpa and test scores at your high school, thousands of other kids have the same at theirs. You're not the only teen out there overachieving. I was lucky to only apply to two schools and get into both, but I wasn't going to a top 10 school... well the school I went to was a top 10 in my state but that's pretty much all it was. However I'm applying to grad schools now, and am definitely applying to some backups. Everyone is out there doing their best, gotta take risks and be safe at the same time. Nothing wrong with that.

plus she should consider that she might end up like Brandon. Brandon was all set to go to Julliard but screwed up at the last minute. Ivy league schools don't like mistakes. also how are her parents supposed to pay for her to go to these presumably expensive schools? with Callie, Jude and possibly Jesus to consider. i'm not American so I don't know how it works.

She's seems to be top of her class so scholarships and financial aid are an option for finances. But yes those schools are expensive.

Besides killing their mom, not being able to take care of them and child care taking them away with them ending up in foster care/ juvie (Callie's case) and being abused ... not just emotionally but physically, sexually(once again in Callie's case ?? .... Anyway my original statement had nothing to do with Donald doing anything right or wrong.

I think stef still has some feelings for tess or else she wouldn't care to much if she way gay or not which is kind of interfering with her and lena's relationship . I dont think mariana should check for less competitive schools because she has all things that most ivy league colleges want and her telling mariana that kinda like blows her confidence but it also wouldn't be bad to have another choice in case one of the options she wants she doesn't get into.

Lena ain't into that retreat ,so maybe she is into something else? Callie doesn't want to be reminded of her Mom. And Donald with another woman? I think it will be too disturbing just yet.Jude is surprisingly ok with it. But he was younger when his Mom died. Mariana just seems to be naive. Then just messes with boys,and their minds. Brandon? Does he live at the Hospital? Crisis on the way? Perhaps these storylines will erupt with excitement,but as a teaser ad it seems very mundane.
