Straight cis woman here; I watched it and loved it!!! Witty, funny, dry, sad, and real all at the same time! The characters are amazing and the last episode had me bawling my eyes out. Best thing on tv in a long long time!!! Can’t wait for season 2!

I'm just glad they didn't show the vile toxic masculinity from the last episode, when that lad did a "joke". Eugh. So glad they showed the clip of Dickies physical assault instead. So funny.

Loved this. When Dicker smacks that little queer. So funny. And dickers put downs to everyone else too, throughout the enitre series, sooo funny. Shame about the toxic masculinity in the last episode though, when the straight white male said a joke. Glad that was pointed out. Boo hiss boo.

It's very funny indeed, and I say this as a straight man who'll be drawing his pension soon. The cast are excellent and Dunning's script is hilarious. Far better than I expected.
