Mileage calculation best method (Tank to tank method / Athar method): 1. Take 1 liter petrol in bottle. Keep it in underseat storage. 2. Drive until tank is empty / no fuel. 3. Once tank empty, set trip meter to Zero. 4. Take out that 1 liter petrol bottle you stored in underseat storage and pour it in tank. 5. Go to petrol pump and pour 4 liter in tank. Now tank is full (5 liters). 6. (optional) If you wish to check mileage again then fill and keep petrol in that 1 liter bottle. 7. Now drive it on daily basis and once tank is fully empty, check the trip meter reading and you can calculate mileage. For example: For 5 liter, my scooty ran 225 km in city as shown in Trip meter. Now divide 225km by 5 liters = 45km. 45km per liter is the Mileage. Avoid 100ml, 500ml or 1 liter quantity for mileage test. The above Athar method is best. Also, don't believe the mileage shown in meter, it is just approximate and not accurate.

I bought a TVS Jupiter 125 CC a year ago and it is having starting problem since then. The battery will completely drain if we don’t use the scooter for 3 to 5 days and the scooter will not start using Kicker also. We must remove the battery (it is not easy to remove the battery), charge it and connect it back to make it work. TVS service Center is claiming that it is a normal behaviour for a BS6 Engine to drain the Battery so fast. TVS service Center is also claiming that the TVS Jupiter 125 CC scooter has lot of sensors, and it will be consuming the battery even when the scooter is in 100% powered off state. I would like to know if these statements are correct, Can someone kindly clarify it ? Note: I have been trying to get answer for these questions from TVS management or from TVS Engineering team for last one week but no one is ready to talk to me apart from the customer center folks who doesn’t have answer for these questions. I highly recommend not to buy TVS Brand scooters. I am tired of owning it.

எனக்கு இந்த Jupiter 125CC ஸ்கூட்டி மிகவும் பிடிக்கும் காரணம் Under Seat Storage Capacity இருப்பது நிறைய பொருட்களை வைத்துக்கொள்ள வசதியாக இருக்கும். ஆனால் இந்த Jupiter 125CC ஸ்கூட்டியில் Fuel Tank-ஐ Floor Board அதாவது Foot Resting Place-ல வைத்திருப்பதால் மேடு பள்ளத்தில் நாம் ஓட்டும்போது அறியாமல் பெரிய பள்ளத்தில் வண்டி இறங்கினால் Fuel Tank பழுதாக வாய்ப்புள்ளதா??
