SR Motoworld synthetic oils are not recommended for new engines, as his engine is rebuilt completely, its almost new so no synthetic engine oil until the break-in period

The DIY Jugaad yeah but the recommended grade for TVS Jupiter is 10w30 which is not good for highway purposes, as the engine heats up the oil starts thinning and as he drives on the highway the heat is even more, so 10w30 would not work... I wonder how he went ladakh with 10w30... The engine would be so much stressed... The break-in happens in about 2000 kms, after the break in some high grade oils can be used, the thing is that he rides on highways so 10w30 cannot be reliable for long... He needs to use higher grade which can be started using from minimum 2000kms... If we consider a normal case, like a person who just drives in the city, he should atleast cover 5000kms before using semi/synthetic oils...

Only thing to keep in mind is to not use easter based oils, as the engine is just 110cc easter based oil will degrade the hell out of the engine

I have driven BS-IV New Suzuki Access 125 continuous for 230 kms non stop at a stretch without any issue. Yes mileage dropped for about 10 kmpl.

After the break-in i.e 2000kms use shell AX7 10W40 semi synthetic or any motul high grade oil except the ones with easter... Also, do keep the oil level in check at every 1000kms... As you travel long distances these small checkups are necessary, these small small things matter in long time...

You shouldn't keep your bag near the foot rest area as it partially blocks air flow to the engine!

Sorry to see that your scooty engine seized. When I watched your video about mods you had done on your scooty, I couldn't help thinking that you were overly focused on looks and did not pay enough attention to what it's capable of doing. Since I was not with you I can;t be sure why it seized, but my feeling is that your scooty was overloaded, electrically as well as mechanically (due to long non-stop ride.) You added more lights and speakers. I am not sure how much power your alternator/dynamo produces. If you draw more electrical power than the scooty is designed to operate on, it will overload the engine too.

Did you check engine oil before that start? I have done 160 kms non stop on my jupiter. but never faced any issue.Or may be the engine oil you used was duplicate.

That's why you shouldn't travel constantly more than even 80kms on your Scooties. One thing you make clear is that they're not meant for such a long rides or Highways.

I have a tvs apache 180, first problem is that i always don't get engine parts locally and local garages don't have components to Check engine compression ratio..... maximum local garages always tell that head kholna hoga and engine me kaam karna hoga when something gets serious with the bike without even doing proper diagnosis

Bhai dekh, Teri vlogging style bahot mast hai. Tu chote rides k liye scooty use Kare np, but long rides k liye a big problem scooty k liye bhi aur Tere liye Bhi. Go for bike. Scooty isnt built for touring long distances. It is pointless to spend so much money just on repair of the scooty. Get a bike. Get a pulsar200 atleast, sasta padega. Touring karna hai to backup me cash hona hin chahiye.

Non stop riding do nt harm engine...thrashing non stop does as i rode from Dehradun to Amritsar and i rode scooty zest..non stop....with only one minute fuelling stop...and ever is fine.no prob what so ever...i never crossed 70 kmph with pillion on board..

Bhai 180 kms ek baar me chaloge to yahi hoga. Maine 2 din me 2000 kms chalayi hai Ntorq, par har 50 km pe 20 minutes ka break leta raha. Koi dikkat nahi aayi. 125cc scooter hai, jaan nikal doge to sieze ho hi jaayega. Aur haan 1000 km chalane ke baad oil change karna bhi recommend karunga main, jis se ki engine life kam na ho.

It was your bad luck that engine seized in 27324 KMs. My Scooter (Jupiter) done 44826 till now and no problem. I have done long rides on it 700 to 800 KM in a day and no issues. Still running original clutch, belt, rollers and brakes etc.
