I test rode the bike and found it to be fantastic and i believe it can cruise at 90 all day long with two given the way torque comes in. Seats are so comfortable upright position and suspension felt good did not get to test on bad roads but it's neither too stiff nor soft. felt good riding this

Why don't bikes put dual channel abs as default for all models. Safety should always be prioritised over others
@shubhamjuvatkar40232 жыл бұрын
I guess the brake feedback was because of the tires they used. They wanted to make it like a scrambler so they used middle block pattern tires(Don't know exact name😅). So braking experience will definitely be like offroad tires on KTM RC lineup. If they would have gone with better street tires, the feedback could have been better.

can you please compare Ronin with bajaj avenger because almost same cc engine 220, but Ronin is more costly. I think both has square engine and both can be driven at low speed in high gears
@shubhamjuvatkar40232 жыл бұрын
At this point it goes on your budget and what which design you like more. I mean obviously Avenger is cruiser and was my pick before Tvs launched Ronin, but I'll go with Ronin because: 1. Better mileage claimed by company 2. Rear disc which Avenger has Drum setup at back 3. Good Info display(Even with the Bluetooth connect) where as Avenger has old analog setup which does not provide you a lot of option. 4. Better city maneuverability due to small length. 5. And last but not least, Ronin is a new design. Bajaj needs to do big overhaul for there new avenger and not give just paint schemes.
@windshieldraindrops82282 жыл бұрын
I have Avenger for last 12 years . Its not for low revs . Fuel efficiency is not that great . And you have to be very careful fir managing the bike in quick breaking situations - its very quick in slipping .

Sub: Advice related to a bike from you. Dear Mr. Nitish, I hope you're doing well and is keeping yourself and your near and dear ones safe and sound during these tough times. My name is 'Kapil Kumar Agarwal' and I am a 43 years old man from Agra city (U.P.). I am a big fan of yours and I've seen many of your videos. I like the unbiased opinion that you give in your videos for which I thank you from bottom of my heart. Purpose of writing this message is to have a suggestion from you regarding a bike that I plan to purchase soon. Actually, recently I've developed a lower back problem. The last two 'blocks' of my spinal cord (I do not know what they are technically called i.e. either Vertebrate or something else), have got compressed due to some reason and now, I am under treatment. Doctor is saying, I will get completely alright but I will have to take some precautions like regular exercising and also avoiding lifting heavy things. My treatment will continue till the end of September but doctor has allowed me to ride a bike albeit at slow speed. Just to be on a safer side related to my spinal cord (lower back) problem, I’ve decided to buy a new bike with the 'upright riding position' and also with the 'softest rear and front suspension' so that it might not put jerks on my spinal back (lower back) while going through pot holes or over speed breakers. Currently, I've 'TVS Sport' bike, which is the cheapest and the most basic bike available in the market. Its suspension (especially the rear suspension) is ‘not’ so soft hence, I plan to dispose it off. Can you please recommend me a bike that can fulfill the following requirements: 1) Price range between INR 1.00 lakh to 2.25 lakh on road (including insurance, RTO registration, etc). 2) Good for daily commutation especially for me alone [not for family, my family travels in a car. Roads are congested here (Agra City) hence, whenever I need to take the family out, I use car and for my personal commutation, I use a bike]. 3) Having up-right seating position that does not put pressure or stress on my spinal cord/lower back (e.g. newly launched TVS - Ronin). 4) Having the softest front and rear suspension in the market (especially the rear suspension) that does not put jerks on my spinal cord (lower back) while going through pot holes or over speed breakers. 5) Any engine capacity between 100 cc - 250 cc will do, I am not a speed frantic person, I am a family man, I ride slowly. I want to go for the smallest possible engine so that it might cost less, the bike might have less weight (thus putting less pressure on my spinal cord) and it might give good mileage. I am ready to go for bigger engine also (up to 250 cc) if the suspension might really be the softest and if it might've up-right riding position. 6) Any type of category will do e.g. naked, classic, adventure, cruiser, scrambler, sports bike, ordinary 'Splendor' type, etc. I've checked out few bikes namely: Hero - Xtreme 160R, TVS - Apache RTR 160 4V, TVS - Ronin, Suzuki - Gixxer, Bajaj - NS 160, Bajaj - NS 200, KTM - 125 Duke, Yamaha: FZ - S, Yamaha: FZ-X. I’ve not test rode the above mentioned bikes as I do not want to put pressure on my spinal cord but I checked out the seating position of all of them at the showroom. Also, I tried checking out how soft the suspension is (especially the rear suspension) by pressing the rear portion (near the tail light part) of each bike by hands as much as possible to see, how much the mono shock suspension compresses and how quickly the bike comes back in its original position after I stop pressing the rear portion of the bike. I did so when the bike was in completely vertically standing position on its wheels sans side or middle stand. I found, when TVS - Apache RTR 160 4V and TVs - Ronin were released after pressing hard from behind, they came back in their original position slowly relatively in comparison to other bikes which were coming back in their original position much faster. That gave me the clue, both the mentioned bikes might be absorbing shocks on road in a much better way. I had made up my mind to buy TVS - Ronin but today, I saw your video in which you had test rode TVS Ronin. In that video, you've mentioned that Ronin has a stiffer suspension (especially the rear suspension) which I believe might put jerks on my spinal cord (lower back) thus damaging it further. Thus, can you please suggest me a bike with the upright seating position and with the softest suspension (front and rear both). Your steps in this direction will be highly appreciated. Thank you so much for your valuable time, efforts and patience. Thanking you, Yours sincerely, Kapil Kumar Agarwal Phone: 9897881583
