In my opinion, for people who would loved to do that extra stickering/ customer stickering/wrapping to the bike, then the basic model is the best choice. One can put some nice stripe on the tank, probably put sticker for the front shocks, also the large mud guard in the back, people can put vinyl cutting of their fav heroes.

The POV(point of view)when you ride this bike is majestic, when you drive it you will feel like you are driving something huge,something grand,that handle design that headlight's top portion,that possitioning of the speedometer, those side mirrors and especially that big tank muscular huge design of that tank makes you feel like you are riding a big and majestic machine and that exhaust sound also plays a major role in enjoying the ride,that gives a confidence to the rider.both the POV and the EXHAUST sound combined makes a ride in this bike amazing❤

Being a Mechanical engineer and a designer in automotive field, I have following observations. I was looking for a family bike for city rides mostly with a flat (horizontal seat), circular headlamp and retro-like + premium design (not like 100-150cc bikes). After exploring lot of bikes, I finalized three options to compare. 1. Honda H'ness 350 CC 2. Royal Enfield Hunter Rebel 350 CC 3. TVS Ronin 225 CC I test drove all 3 vehicles 2-3 times and following are my observations, 1. Honda H'ness 350 CC - *Pros* - Nice retro/classic look, Low end torque is good, Seating space for pillion rider is more than other two vehicles. *Cons* - Bulkier (Box size), Paint quality, Higher cost as compared to other two vehicles 2. Royal Enfield Hunter Rebel 350 CC - *Pros* - Beautiful Design/Styling/Look, Great color schemes, Turning radius is smaller than Ronin (Less space to turn the vehicle), Reasonable cost. *Cons* - The biggest issue (design flaw) is positioning of foot rest (pegs), just below the sitting position. This makes it difficult to keep your feet on ground while you are at signal or in slow moving traffic. Foot rest (pegs) keep touching your legs and is very uncomfortable. Another point is that seat on rear end tapers downward and seating space for pillion rider being less, pillion rider tend to move back and when you accelerate, pillion may feel like toppling/falling down at back side. So this is not safe and hence, back rest is MUST. Handle bar positioned in such a way that you need to keep your hands stretched straight all the times which is not a comfortable sitting posture. Low end torque/performance (2 & 3 gear) is sluggish due to bigger engine. (Not as good as smaller capacity bikes) 3. TVS Ronin 225 CC - *Pros* - Semi-retro look with circular headlamp, Driveability and Performance is superb. Handle bar position is very good for comfortable sitting posture with hands slightly bent in elbows. Very easy to handle in traffic. *Cons* - Very bad design/aesthetics of fuel tank (some odd shape), Color schemes are odd (not impressive), Turning radius is higher than Hunter (Needs larger space to turn the vehicle). Cost is on higher side for lower CC as compared to Hunter (mainly due to features). Overall, none of them is meeting my requirements (as mentioned above) and hence, I decided to wait for Kawasaki W175 or Yamaha XSR or Improved version of Royal Enfield Hunter. All the best! People in India make a lot of assumptions, some random guy will come and call me RE fanboy but in truth i am not a fanboy of any brand. I told you the reason I chose hunter 350. It got the looks, feel and most importantly the torque. And i would love to have a great resale value once I decide to switch to something else.

I found it more engaging, i don't mind the led set up and did not feel any comfort issues with it and loved the design over Ronin, it felt more complete. I gave my opinion and you gave yours. I agree with this gentleman, top variant should've come with all-black option (I'm also not a fan of golden forks) Personally, I don't like the colors offered in the top variant, and I need 2-channel ABS for safety, so I'm not buying Ronin this year

The breaking is quite good in Ronin. Works surprisingly well with single channel ABS too. Ofcourse dual channel is an added advantage

In a nutshell Ronin is complete bike whereas Hunter feels like a downgraded 350 classic.

The only grouse that I have with this bike, is that if it had a ground clearance of 220mm it would have beaten the Himalayan, Yezdi Adventurer, and the Hero Xpulse pants down. Nevertheless, this bike effortlessly fills the much-needed bad-roader segment. I, for one, won't mind its ordinary Joe look, rather than the snazzier one. This bike has beaten my purchase decision for the Hero Expulse for good. Your vlog reinforces my decision furthermore, thanks for that!

Hunter > ronin > fzx if mileage is not a concern and you want a bike for status and highway rides (hunter's true mileage in city will be 25-28) Ronin > hunter > fzx for city riding, mileage , features, better parts like USD, monoshock, slipper clutch (all 3 are more expensive and better than what hunter offers and reserved for high end-bikes only) Fzx is a garbage that tries to look like a cruiser bike......... Yamaha is a group of drunk bimbos who dumped XSR155 and launch fzx in india.

It's not a bulky issue, it's the height issue with the mirror. Just lose the clutch screw and push the whole sent to the front. You view will increase. But still it's not best.

It's an oil cooled engine. It won't overheat unless it needs an oil change.

The engine definitely heats up. But also, it cools down very quickly
