@@theaccountingsolutions1188 servicing needs improvement. Ronin can only be serviced at select centres and they typically have just 1 guy per centre qualified to work on Ronin, who is involved with other bikes also. Never before have I watched such a detailed, painstakingly researched and balanced review! Seems that not only do you have in-depth knowledge about automobile engineering in addition to an astute appreciation of customer needs and expectations but also a very unbiased and balanced insight and judgement as well. A rare combination of intelligence, wisdom and honesty indeed! God bless you and keep up the good work. 🎉 (Do elaborate on the off-road and adventure touring capabilities of this "unscripted" machine so that beginners as well as allrounders can also benefit from your views and advice to choose between more expensive alternatives and Ronin. All the best 👍💯

Excellent review, very in depth and super duper useful. Just one suggestion though- the heading of the video seems a bit misleading after you watch the entire video since problems seem to be very minor when weighed against the pros. So maybe you would want to rename the video more appropriately! I took a test ride twice and am planning to purchase this. Main reasons being it's light weight, slipper clutch, agility and ease of riding in traffic and lastly pricing of the base variant (which in my view is the most value for money option). These points make Ronin stand out from Royal Enfield and Honda CB 350 - this is because my primary use will be city ride.
@callmeppk2 жыл бұрын
This is the 1st time I am watching any video of yours and honestly speaking, your review seemed a lot reliable to me as many of the riding points were relatable to my daily riding experience.. keep up the good and hard work, may you grow bigger..

Should be Comfortable for both Rider & pillon (good seats etc.) 3). Low on maintenance and 4). Average-good mileage 5) Look & Brand ..Now obviously price is factor and you can't get everything, still with medium budget consideration, which bike you would suggest? I am having multiple issues with my 4 day old , 96 km run Ronin. The engine is making a tappety noise which is irritating, and wasn't there on the test ride motorcycle. The gear shift is smooth on the upshift...but terrible on the downshift. In 4th gear if one slows down, I am unable to come down to 2nd...the gear shift refuses to shift down to 3rd , 2nd or 1st. I have to release the clutch halfway and then it shift with a sharp sound... This is exactly like the old 80s Bullet bikes. Front tyre has lost air pressure completely within one day of purchase. It was starting to wobble by the time I reached home. I filled 25 psi air at the nearest station but by next morning it was down to 07 psi. I have got the valve pin replaced now. Very sad experience for a TWO lakhs purchase.

Will Single channel ABS be better for my use or should I go for the top end Dual ABS option as the price is not a consideration? Thanks you.

I have TVS Jupiter. The main issues are parts and also design. One e rikshaw hit my tail light. The e rikshaw was having a spear like guard. So it broke the glass. The tail light is one unit with side indicators. If they have 3 units then It would have costed less. My petrol tank sensor failed and the bolts didnt unscrew. They were freely rotating. They didn't have the extra fuel tank with them also they said it would take time to come. The design are changed every year of Jupiter hence they don't afford to make bulk parts. Same with Apache and now should be same with Ronin. Although Ronin being different then others they would be making their parts in bulk now as they would not change the design for about 3-4 yrs. But surely 2 decades is a long journey. I had TVS vector which became huge pain in *** after few years when it would just start either by धक्का or by 100s of continuous kicks. Sold at 10000 after 7 yrs. TVS has huge reliability issue. Same with my Apache hyperedge 160 2012 model..parts are not available.

I like the depth of details but too much of repeating of same information. Like engine part you said it will be flat and engine is not exciting with square type, this was kept repeating through out the engine part of the video. 48 mins of would can be cut down to 20 mins with editing of repeated information. End of the day I liked the content and your passion to explain out of the box concepts, thumbs up for that! Other youtubers who just speak non sense picked up or made up, this video will teach you!

Service will be a big problem. Buy a bike which has a good service center.

Firstly my compliments to you for a painstakingly researched and thoughtfully structured video presentation. I felt breaking this video into 4 sections of 12 minutes each will attract more viewers who may get dissuaded looking at the duration of 48 minutes. You labour over the sitting posture quite a bit. Riders adjust to odd designs like Bajaj Avenger, Continental GT and Suzuki Intruder over time. So Ronin too ? Wouldn't we ? Turning radius has become an issue with many bikes because the design of the rider triangle and shape of the petrol tank and type/height of handle bar have not been looked at together. I haven't come across any biker appreciate turn by turn navigation on any make bike. Bajaj, Yamaha and Suzuki seem to have stuck to time tested concepts i think. Best Wishes.

The most in-depth review bro, 360° coverage. You answered a lot of questions that would help people considering to buy a Ronin. What I liked best was you gave technical review in a simple manner, explaining the technical aspects in simple form. Most reviewers just do a bit of marketing by just glossing over the features. You have gone into the finer details from both a manufacturer thought process perspective as well as a buyer user perspective. The points you mentioned about after sales service, even i agree TVS should provide a more premium service center for Ronin to improve the user experience for a premium bike. I am sure they would do that as the sales pick up. And the service cost which you mentioned , what most reviewers said would be low cost, is not accurately mentioned by them. You gave the actual picture that servicing cost is at par with the competition service cost, which TVS should try to either reduce or improve service for Ronin segment. And impressed with the details you have kept in mind. Most comprehensive Ronin review. What you said was absolutely right, TVS has done a fantastic job in blending designs of different genres and also tried to balance the short comings of that particular genre. Most reviewers have said it's a confused design. But i feel it's unique and well blended. A measured risk and a refined product built out of a tried and tested Apache 200 engine upgrade. Thanks for this honest review bro All the best, keep up the good work. 🙏 Good luck for the channel

bajaj avenger 160 has almost square engine, should it ride the same as Ronin?
