Ankle-braces are NOT good for injury prevention if you've never had any problems with ankle stability in the first place. They make the stabilising muscles in and around your foot weak and can be a cause for ankle injuries. Only use them if you know you have weak ankles. But even in that case, they shouldn't be the only prevention measure you use. It's far more valuable to train your ankle to play without external support.

For sure…great point…there are videos that I have stressed that strength and conditioning is a very important element of volleyball that is often forgotten about. Great points tho that does need to be reinforced for sure! Thanks!!!

You can of course play volleyball in basketball and basketball shoes are simply better then volleyball shoes you just don't know what your talking about

You can also play volleyball in flippers, doesn’t mean you should. Individual sports equipment are specific to their respective sport and are preferred for their respective sport.
