'Twas the Night Before Christmas - Greater Miami Symphonic Band - J. Steven Moore, conductor.

This is the classic composition of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas performed by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band, Coral Gables, Florida. The twist on this performance is that I collaborated with Pinecrest Elementary art teachers to create 4th and 5th grade drawings to represent each line of the poem. (Lorian was attending Pinecrest Elementary at the time and Jameson had recently attended.) Elementary art is the perfect mix between cute and not too serious. All the kids art was projected during the performance and it was wonderful having them attend the concert. I originally saw this in action with the legendary William J. Moody, Director of the School of Music at the University of South Carolina. He used to do something similar for the huge spectacular that Carolina put on in the coliseum each December. He explained it to me one day and it only took me another 25 years to implement it--haha.
