I have a fluorescent light that has an electronic ballast but the one lamp flickers on startup but only when the fixture is grounded any ideas? It used to work fine

Cheaper than WD40 is just to use kerosene, works in the ultrasonic cleaner as well if you leave the basket out.

Godamn dude.. yep its a metal case, yep heard you froze it for tar, yep its a mica sheet, yep its another mica sheet, probably for the same thing you said the first ones for, yep their caps.. fuckin a .. first 20 mins are just too much for me... and do some pushups or something...

you think even good brands fail ? like philips, osram etc ? I have here two faulty ballasts...made in spain by some no name brand ELT....quite decent parts inside
