@@cepheus9856 That’s not the real story. Gusto na ni Sam si Toni sa PBB pa lang kahit na nakikita nya lang si Toni through the monitor. Paglabas nya sa PBB house, he tried to befriend Toni and people around them teased them. Sam, being young and immature pa that time, didn’t really know how to pursue Toni kasi ibang culture and values ang kinagisnan nya. He was also afraid of her dad. Still, Toni introduced Sam to her family. Sam assumed na sila na ni Toni without even asking her kasi di ba iba sa Western culture. Once you both like each other and if ilang times na kayo lumalabas together, kayo na. Something like that. But hindi naging clear yong sa kanila ni Toni kasi nga hindi alam ni Sam how to pursue her. Toni’s dad told her na hindi nya gusto si Sam for her. Toni is always obedient sa parents nya kaya she obeyed her dad’s counsel. Toni lives by God’s Word na “obey and honor your parents and all will go well for you.” Nagulat at heartbroken na lang si Toni when she heard na Sam was already courting Anne Curtis. It seemed that when Sam met Anne, compatible sila in terms of values and culture. So Sam pursued Anne. Toni was heartbroken kasi she expected Sam na mag pursigi to court her and win her and her parents’ approval. Yon bang patunayan nya na serious sya and that she’s the right man for her. Talagang God has better plans for each one of us. Because of Toni’s obedience to her parents, God gave her the best and right man for her who’s now her husband. Obedience to God unlocks blessings. We may not understand what He wants us to do but just follow what He commands and says according to His ways not our ways.
