Repent and trust in Jesus. We deserve Hell for our sin. Lying, lusting, etc, but God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross and ride from the grave to free us from sin. If you repent and trust in him youll be saved. Romans 3:23 John 3:16😊❤

The Weather Channel will always remind me of those days at grandma’s house. For all those years, since the beginning of TWC, my grandma documented the daily/nightly weather in a little journal. The local on the 8s will forever remind me of those memories. I miss her so much. She’s the reason why I love weather as much as I do. Thank you for 40 years Weather Channel!

Don’t forget the soundtrack on the Local on the 8’s segments! Smooth Jazz and seasonal songs!

And the iconic Storm Alert theme.

Storm alert themes and smooth jazz. Definitely Smooth Jazz, like on the radio station up here in Seattle, Washington in the 1990's, mainly 1995 and 1996, Smooth Jazz KWJZ 98.9 FM before it became 98.9 the Click and then the Bull. The glory days that seem to last forever, but I still hold a place for smooth jazz in my heart ❤️ .

I’ve been watching The Weather Channel since the early ‘90s. John Hope inspired my love of Hurricanes. I used to want to be a Hurricane Specialist like him. Warren Madden was gracious enough to let me do a telephone interview with him in 2004 for my final project in Cartography class, during my undergrad. I pursued a degree in Earth Science, in part because of the influence of The Weather Channel. Thank you!

The Local on the 8s segments gave me interest in The Weather Channel. I've been watching them almost regularly since late 2007 right until mid-2018. Nevertheless, I check the weather on my phone almost regularly.

I turn to the weather to see the weather not patterns not series to watch just weather! I loved Vivian and the other morning people. They dressed very mince in suits and lovely clothes. They were business like not goofy not teachers not tacky like they are now! I just don’t enjoy it now and I can’t get the weather anytime I want it!

Thank you, Weather Channel, for all of great memories. Some bad, some good, some unusual, but otherwise mostly satisfying. I've been a long-time viewer (and even avid fan) since when I was young back in the early 90s and I had always been fascinated with TWC. I still remembered the days back when the local forecast was originally all just text based before when there were graphics and maps. Anyways, I want to congratulate on your network for 40 years and thank you for all the memories as always!

I honestly really love the The Weather Channel when I was growing up. I got into meteorology after I saw the weather channel for the first since when I was 6 years old in 2005.

I have just watched this on KZbin for the first time today. Aside from that, I also watched The Weather Channel in my past life and in my childhood growing up. One of the things that I wanted to do when I grew up was to be a meteorologist, if I had confidence. I still like the local on the 8s and the music. I did like the meteorologists back then, like Jennetta Jones and Dave Schwartz (how I missed him back then and now as an adult). I still like Jim Cantorie, Rebecca Stevenson and Chris Warren as well as other meteorologists on the news channels up here in Washington state, Komo 4, NW Cable News, Kiro 7, Q13 just to name a few. I still like & watch the Weather Channel occasionally as much as those other weather report channels online or on KZbin from other meteorologists, Andy Hill, Ryan Hall, and even Brian Shields. In my opinion, I can honestly see both Ryan and Brian on the Weather Channel. That would be interesting to see, and it would be so cool. One downside is that I didn't see any images or clips of Jennetta Jones or Dave Schwartz. Hopefully, it won't go away anytime soon or go the same way as MTV, when it was still playing music videos 24/7 back then, same as the Weather Channel & their weather reports, but then again, that's life. Thanks for all that you do on the Weather Channel & God bless 🙂👍💒🙏🌎📺⛅️⛈️🌦🌧🌨🌩🌪🌫🌬🌀☔️⛱️❄️☃️.

Sad to see twc today. Too many shows taking up important events that should have been tracked such as tornado outbreaks. Twc seems to only go live for blizzards and hurricanes

I used to like the weather Channel but since they added other stuff there you can't get weather 24/7 like they used to. Now you have to get the weather from WeatherNation in which you have 24/7 . Used to like underground weather until they Weather Channel bought them out. And now on the streaming side now you have to pay for it. It's really shame I love The Weather Channel. That's what got me interested in weather. Well not anymore 😥.. That's my opinion

I used to watch this when I was a teenager but I saw watching it around 2006 because they remove all the good shows and I’ll put in like a bunch of different shows that I really don’t like so I stop watching it all together so for me, it’s been over 14 years now I still don’t care for it. What are used to? It’s like a fun anymore.

I used to love the weather channel, but now that they are pushing the agenda for the dark side, I very rarely tune in. I guess they must have all invested in green deals. Cuz they sure are pushing climate change. I miss the actual weather reports
@johncunningham82132 жыл бұрын
Exactly. In 2019 they started interviewing only Democrat politicians about "climate change". Now they have Pattrn every single day that pushes the alarmist propaganda. Guess they got bought out by the DNC. Shame.
@johncunningham82132 жыл бұрын
@@pegasus5287 I agree they're all (at the very least, most of them) are corrupt and power hungry on both sides, I just don't think it's a coincidence that they exclusively interviewed the Dems, since that is the party that constantly pushes climate change alarmism but never offers any legitimate solutions other than a radical restructuring of the private sector that will only result in absolute top down authority from the federal government over the economy with tax rates going through the roof and straight into their pockets. Like you said, they don't actually care about the environment, only power.
