Daryl & Carol travelling to Spain might actually make some sense. If they were planning to sail from England back to the USA, then it would make sense for them to sail to the south of Spain and use the trade winds route to aid in their journey. (Sailors have been taking advantage of the trade winds for centuries) As for why they stop in Santiago de Compostela, I would need more info, but it could be to pick up supplies, to pick up/drop off other passengers, or to connect with some friendlies (in S1, it was indirectly mentioned that Lo Sang had travelled there previously)

I fundamentally agree we're overseas because of Norman, but I don't wanna say they are vacationing because filming is a ton of work and extremely time consuming. I wish we wouldn't have been spoiled by the London thing, but it doesn't sound like a massive plot, just like a way to set up the season.

My best guess, Dan, is London is very friendly when it comes to filming, tax breaks, great facilities and technology, sets, easy access for actors. I've noticed the last 4 Marvel movies in production, most filming at Pinewood Studios.👍

@@richardgoldins4790 Fleeing Genet's forces and going to England makes sense. From S1, we already know that there were people there with the capability to do that. However, it's fair game to discuss other reasons for making this journey. I don't see Morgan (or someone else from the main series) to be there. Maybe someone that has connections to the CR/CRM/French scientists???

Several pics have been shown from the early S3 filming. The sets had English signs, double decker buses, and the old phone boxes. I saw some other pics, just recently, that showed them setting up a green screened sailing journey.

@@lastrrr4134 Yeah, I knew they were going to base at least some of season 3 in London but Dan mentioned them going back to Spain in the show afterwards. I hadn't heard anything about that.

@@davewilliamson4357 I haven't seen anything 'announced', just the pic from the clashedpr post. However, AMC has been scouting shooting locations in a few different areas of Spain. For me, it's just a matter of 'why' they Daryl/Carol go to Spain and how soon

@@lastrrr4134 I guess I just assumed that they were filming in Spain for monetary purposes. Maybe permits are easier to get there as opposed to England as well. I haven't heard anything about the story actually taking them to Spain. Myself at least.

I think The Walking Dead universe hasn't handled the France storyline or the runners, variants very well... Dead city is kinda boring, Daryl, the main show, CRM and the ones who live. I'm getting reaaaaally tired and bored and have no expectations at all to be what it was, I'm even gonna cancel my suscription to AMC and feel like I'm gonna try not to watch these videos from twd youtubers because i feel like there's no surprise at all and it's not interesting. I will not watch Daryl Dixon season 2 until I don't know when because if I watch it then we will have to wait for ONE YEAR to be watching the next big thing. Following this like a fan is terrible.
