I think Hershel isn't a brat, I think he realises his mother has wanted revenge, has a grudge that she doesn't even hide. When Maggie gets him back, she doesn't even ask if he is okay or what happened. It goes straight to what she wants.

He was a brat in the comics. I feel like the writers are trying to figure how the audience wants the story to go. This is not in the comics and TWD got far from the original story. I think writers are finding that happy medium

People instantly make him out to be a brat like the comics but if you actually listen to the conversation. You get your kid back after they were kidnapped, you don't even ask how they are, if they are okay and what they want. That is what Maggie did, she went straight to what she wants and what she thinks.

This was spot on. All the important parts were included and uncessary parts were excluded. But I still have a hard time why Negan didnt kill the Dama right there. She wasnt protected and Negan could've easily fled imo.

@@alisaurus4224 all jokes aside, I think the only truly innocent person he killed was the dr, and that was bc Dwight set him up to take the fall. Everyone else deserved it (from Negan's perspective). He thinks Rick's ppl attacked him first (he didn't know about what happened with darryl). If I'm remembering correctly, he gave his "wives" the choice to work (like laura) or be with him; they made their choices 🤷🏿‍♀️. I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head that he tortured, enslaved, and/or murdered that didn't "deserve" it (you know what I mean lol). I'm pretty sure the whole point of his character is to make us question what is "good" or "bad", or at least that's what I took from it

Yeah, I hate that explanation. 1. It undermines his whole “redemption” arc because now he was all of a sudden “never really that person”. And 2. It makes it seem like it was inevitable. As if putting on a persona meant you had to be a cruel asshole when Ezekiel did the same thing and was nothing like Negan. It’s very much trying to have your cake and eat it too.

I've never watched The Walking Dead but I thought the environment was supposed to be super dangerous. So how did Negan's adopted child make it from a safe compound to dangerous Manhattan, into Manhattan to find Negan, and then turn around and make it back with no problem?

Me and my brother were huge fans of the original show of The walking Dead, especially the season 1 to season 6... Every Sunday my brother will come over and we watch it and me personally The walking Dead means a lot to me because it helped me bond with my brother so I have a lot of good memories of the walking Dead and Michonne is my favorite character I even bought t-shirt of Michonne.. and a bobblehead of Michonne.. but then around season 8 I think the show really declined and was going downhill not it doesn't mean that won't show was awful... It's just it wasn't as good as before... And when Rick left and then later Michonne.. I think that's when I completely stop watching it because I really felt that there were dragging it out and it should have ended a lot sooner... Now on Netflix when all the seasons were there that's when I did a bench of The walking Dead for one weekend and see all the seasons that I missed.... It was decent I still felt like the dragged way too long.... Now we were told about three spin-offs and I do like the character Maggie because she's been through a lot and really wasn't the same when Glenn died.. but honestly I didn't think The walking Dead, dead city wooden be good but I did decide to work hard all the episodes and then wants to sees wraps then I'll watch all of them but at first I heard the episode was awesome and the second one was good but now people are telling me that the entire season wasn't good... I do like the character negan in the beginning That's the main Villain. But it really feels now that they spin-offs were just a quick cash trying to make some money off of the title of The walking Dead and the character Daryl even got his own show and I haven't watched it yet but the one I am looking forward is the story of Michonne and Rick that was really a beautiful relationship that they both really loved each other. I just hope that one is really good

I am an ardent fan of *The Walking Dead*. While the final episode offered a degree of reconciliation, Maggie's inability to fully forgive Negan remains. Her group initiated the conflict by eliminating many of Negan's men, a retaliatory action for Negan's killings of Glenn and Abraham. However, she should consider that Negan has repeatedly demonstrated remorse and attempted amends. Get over it Maggie! Lol
