The Piranha Prowler is honestly one of the funniest vehicles in the Mario Kart series because of the moving mouth whenever it wins, is tricking, and whatever else.

I'm not gonna lie, it's nice to see outside drift again. Inside drift karts are cool and all, but it makes everything feel a little samey to me, and part of the fun of the really bad vehicles is that outside drift makes them almost impossible to use. Inside drift karts are fun as a bit of a novelty though!

It's kind of fun to have a nice mix of impossible mode karts and competitive karts, having ko tourneys is gonna mean outside drift so hopefully there's a good mix

Outside drift is not impossible to use, there are plenty of solid karters out there who can make it to 9999VR with good karts such as the Flame Flyer and even win competitive games vs top tier inside drift vehicles. Outside drift is overall better than inside drift for karts anyway, it's just harder to use. Inside drift karts cannot drift nearly as tightly as inside drift bikes because bikes lean to the side when drifting whereas karts do not. Additionally, karts move at their top speed while drifting whereas bikes need to be moving in a straight line to wheelie and reach their top speed, so spending most of your time in a drift while in a kart is fine in fact it's actually desirable because it means you have ample opportunity to charge up super mini-turbos (and ultra ones in Retro Rewind). Troy and Nick are not karters, they're completely used to inside drift so they perform better with the inside drifting karts than the outside drifting ones, but that's not representative of the actual viability.

I was so distraught when my game crashed after moo moo meadows. This was my best chance in a while to get a KO win and I got screwed by literally luck. At the time of this KO I was at my parents house so my net was better than usual, meaning i was now on level playing field with everyone else (i have a significant disadvantage when playing at uni, contrary to popular belief), so this couldve been my biggest shot for a while. Oh well, luck is luck and sadly I wasnt on the good side of it :p

I wonder if a KO all kart competition would work? Like a tournament that would have everyone on the same kart, and each KO would cycle through all the different karts and bikes. And the person with the most points at the end picks what Kart everyone uses throughout the final KO (with the kart being switched up between rounds.) It would be tricky to organise and would require a lot of coordination. But it could be really fun

Let's see. What about... 150cc karts vs 100cc bikes? The only stipulation is that there is a maximum of 1 Flame Runner and 1 Mach Bike; all other bikes are legal; all karts are legal. The disadvantage of being on 100cc leaves bikes having to wheelie to keep up with the karts, but is that enough of a handicap for the karts to come out on top?
