@borkdogey Well, there's a long backstory, but I'll try to keep it short. Some pro Melee gamers tried to have a Melee tournament (it's normally annual), and because this year it's a bit risky to meet up with other people and have the tournament this way, they wanted to play it online, with everyone at home. And so they used a fan mod called Slippy if I remember correctly to be able to play Melee online. Nintendo saw it, and instantly shut it down, and even sent a Cease and Desist letter to the organisers of this annual Melee tournament, which caused quite a big outrage, because this was seen as a direct attack on the Fans of Melee, since this Mod was the only way for these people to enjoy Smash on a professional level, and it's gotten worse. Honestly it's no big surprise, Nintendo has always been great at making games, but horrible at PR. They shut down every single fangame they can get their hands on, and sometimes it feels as if their fans don't mean anything to them. Sega on the other hand for example embraces their fans, and the newest Sonic game even was a collab between Fans and Sega devs. If you want more information on this whole situation just google FreeMelee or SaveSmash, there are many good articles about this topic out there, which can explain the situation a lot better than I can.

The beach ducks are called “Cataquacks”, debuted in Super Mario Sunshine, The bats are called Swoopers (now called Swoops), these enemies definitely increase time on MKWii

I just realized: maybe this mod isn't a CPU-only speed mod at all, maybe it just tells the CPUs to use maximum rubber banding. That would explain why they still slow down or mess up in certain areas.

I think whoever made this could improve it by doing these suggestions. I don't know anything in the slightest about modding Mario Kart Wii, but if this is possible it could make this mod work more like I think it's intended to Remove the speed multiplier and off road buffs that the player has Make computers be on 200cc while you're only on 150 Give all computers max stat vehicles Bonus points for making the computer vehicles all inside drift Make the CPU item usage like Super Mario Kart, so that the computers can receive items whenever they want even if they haven't past an item box Bonus points again if they can get items regardless of place, so Mario and Luigi can get stars in whatever place they want for example being like the original game Maybe even each computer could have their own "special item" like in Super Mario Kart. Not saying like the exact same things like poison mushrooms and all but like Mario and Luigi get stars like in Super, Baby Mario and Luigi get bullets like the chain chomps in double dash, etc

As a main kart player i can agree with you about the hit box, I mean the speed overall doesn´t bother me, but the hit box, specially when you start drifting, you became literally a wall for whatever stuff people wanna trow at you and dodging random triple stuff on the ground after a shock is more like closing my eyes e hope for the best xD, picking those apparently lost item box or starring someone with the last inch of your kart nose/rear is very satisfying tough :p

Mario Raceway has a huge gap between item sets. The last item set is before the pipe and the first item set is after the first turn that is nearly half the track

I think what karts and bikes u should choose is, for the Star cup choose birdo with the zip zip and for the leaf cup I think you should use the daytripper with peach (hope I choose my)

speaking of cpu's, in mario kart ds there is always one CPU who is set to have max speed if that cpu is a dry bones on the dry bomber, you might as well just reset till its someone else because you need very good luck to beat that

Mr Bean: 24 player is quite unstable and shouldn't be combined with any thing else. Nobody..... Literally nobody....... Troy: So for my choice on flounder fest so far we are doing 400cc item rain, countdown, 24 player knockout with the custom tracks and the max stat jet setter with automatic against nick online in 2020, and we are using randomised items with our least favourite tracks so it is quite normal. nick: Engages wierd nick screaming sounds
