I would add that maybe most of those players has no or low exp on karts and that counts a lot, besides that, kart lines are slightly different from bike lines wich everyone seems to be used, as a kart player I can tell it. Sure inside drift still is a thing, and he´s racing skill sum up a lot, but having the extra speed and orange miniturbos, karts should have done a bit better, just take rainbow road as a exemple, he went second cause people messed up... a lot.

The main reason it's competitive is really because Troy is playing. With optimal vehicles, he consistently takes 1st against most players. With handicaps, he can still be seriously competitive.

@@AA-tz2bm the "draft" is a US thing where able-bodied (and able-minded) adult males get signed up for the army and they can't do anything about it. It was a big controversy when people were drafted to fight the Vietnam War, but now it's less of a big deal since most of the Army is made of professional mercenary soldiers. So your chances of being picked are very slim.

Note that actually acceleration is divided in 4 stages and an exponent. In this case, I used the worst stage and exponent values from every vehicle, being these: S0 → Jetsetter S1 → Flame Flyer S2 → Jetsetter S3 → Jetsetter E → 0.2, a value used in some of the vehicles. The others use 0.65 As well as the acceleration values used while drifting: S0 → 0.8, lowest value from many vehicles S1 → 0.925, lowest from many vehicles as well S2 → Wario Bike S3 → 0.11, also used in many vehicles E → 0.95, lowest as well Also worth mentioning that I used the lowest value of other hidden stats, such as Traction (Standard Kart S/L) and handling/drifting tightness values

The games awarding system goes by time. The player that actually got first crossed the line with a lower decimal, but lag and connection made him appear behind Troy. So the players time was actually lower when he finished the race, but crossed the line second due to lag
