As someone whos lived in Kensington my whole life (36 years) Kensington and Fairhill (bad lands) have been corrupted by drugs really bad since the early 80s before i was born. My grandfather grew up at A and Somerset and he said even in the 1960s Kensington and Somerset was somewhere you could go to buy drugs same with K&A. People who arent really from around here dont know whats going on, they might be from Philadelphia but they dont know the neighborhood just like I been to west Philadelphia but i dont know the layout because im not from that part of the city.
