Tweek's mentality will just never stop hurting him it seems, he was literally biting his fingers before the match. Onin played pretty well, but Tweek also played badly.

Yeah, he was playing super nervous, you could tell that he wasn't thinking well. He was fishing for a lot of side b opportunities which Onin was able to punish.

He also didn't practice Seph in a while, at least not on stream. Cause he dropped him for megaman and I really don't understand why. Tweek constantly changing his roster really hurts his results.

Remember, everyone. Hate the character, not the player. Onin isn't doing anything wrong by capitalizing on Steve being the strongest character. It still takes a lot of skill to use Steve properly. Granted, Steve does have a lot of gamebreaking stuff that forces you to play his game instead of your own, but that's not on Onin, that's on Sakurai and Bandai Namco

Steve just looks so unskilled, he never goes offstage, never has to approach carefully just mashes on your shield, his ledgetraps are all artificial it just feels like there is no risks taken. And it never is a challenge to get materials cause blocks are so hard to break. I have never watched a Steve win a match and thought to myself he was the better player

Because he isn’t ban worthy and even with that tech being known of for as long as it was, it was virtually never observed to be used in a tournament set. He’s the best character in the game and has a campy play style so players hate him. He’s not flashy and hype for most people. This set actually showcased Steve’s weaknesses really well. Sephs range was able to keep Steve under pressure and make onin have to set up on the fly. Steve struggles against large hitboxes which is why normally tweek wins against Steve and spargo as well with his cloud. Agus does good against Steve too because mythra can get in his face quickly and she has a strong punish game.
