This is extremely useful and well-made. I LOVE the Minecraft music! Tweek isn't just talking, he is TEACHING! Mario is super powerful up close, but I beat him out with my disjoints very well. I main Marth, Corrin, and Byleth, and I focus a LOT on spacing. I beat Mario/Dr. Mario mains most of the time, because I bait & punish with safe yet powerful disjoints. Mario can't kill you at 0 if he hardly gets to hit you to begin with.

"Outrange Mario" is easy until you realize you're playing a tall character (i.e. not Diddy Kong) and Mario's RAR bair reaches 1/4 to 1/3 of the stage as a burst option, which is longer than almost any sword.

Most characters can outrange Mario, if you’re truly that scared of Bair play to move outside of its burst range, if you’re being ledgetrapped tough luck but that’s not what Tweek is talking about.

@@michaelkarim57 What did I just say about Mario's burst range? The character is basically a projectile. If you keep backing up, you'll eventually end up in the corner. I don't usually struggle fighting Mario, it's just really annoying, and a couple of the things said in this video only apply to certain privileged characters.

Just putting it out there: While Mario's Up-B can be a pain, it's also the biggest move where he leaves himself WIDE OPEN because he can't do anything else until he lands on the ground (on his butt, so it takes a few frames for him to get up and start moving again). If you can, make the Mario player miss with their Up-B, it's an open door to fight back!

...I don't understand why you guys don't use standard FGC lingo. It's part of why you don't get respect in the FGC and people think your games have the weakest talent pool of any fighting game, ever. "Frame 3 up b"... Does that mean it's active on the 3rd frame? Does that mean it has 3 frames of startup and consequently active on the 4th frame? It sounds similar to "3 frame jab" so I assume it means the same. "X move has a lot of lag"... what? lmao, you mean recovery frames? Lag has nothing to do with an attack. All moves have 3 parts: Startup; Active; Recovery. Not startup, active, lag. I've heard people say "well, recovery means recovery to the stage in this game". But lag also means... LAG in every other game! Internet lag, occasionally it can mean console or PC frame dips or monitor display lag. It never ever ever ever means recovery frames and when one says lag instead of recovery frames it just sounds like they are either demonstrating their ignorance of fighting games and/or a small child. The FGC compared to the Smash community is analogous to the MLB compared to some backyard kickball. You don't get to call the bases pitching mounds without us pro MLB players leaving comments like this lol. It's all love, I love this game and obviously I know you have a ton of talent. I just find joy in some friendly ish talking. Kick ball is a fun party game after all, just like Smash. Come play a real game like Street Fighter, I just dusted up Fatality's Dee Jay a couple months ago, you can get it too lol.
