My favorite Doctor so far. I have a theory that all the Doctors since Eccelston have been . . . incomplete. Capaldi was the first one to be whole. "I know why I chose this face, and I know what it's for. To remind me. To hold me to the mark. I am The Doctor and I save people."

At the end of the day, everyone has their Doctor. The one who, if a blue box turned up at their doorstep tomorrow asking to go through all of time and space with, be the one you'd want. The one who left an extra space on your heart and even if the story sucked, you'd say it was worth watching because you got to see your Doctor one more time. (Plus, it's Doctor Who, and therefore timelines and continuity is often fun but meaningless lol) Peter Capaldi is my Doctor. P.S. Amazing video, it gave me all the feels all over again.

12 is my favorite Doctor for sure. Capaldi encapsulates the mystique, tragedy and humor of the character so perfectly. One moment he would have your eyes glued to the screen with an outpouring of emotional acting, and another he'd have you laughing till it hurt with his wit and timing. This video puts it all together so well, like a look back at everything that made him great! I've always loved your vids, but this one might be my new favorite! 😍

Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor will be remembered and highly praised for possessing the electrifying power to quicken our pulses, heightening our senses, captivating our emotions, has an impeccable fashion sense with a prickly sweet punkish attitude and most importantly..... leaves us breathless. To this day, no Doctor has that much of an incredible impact than 12. Underrated?! Not on my watch. An incredible tour de force of a video ( in half the time of your 12 minute Tribute to 12 a year and a half ago ). And while I still believe Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor have the potential to be a good Doctor ( hopefully Season 12 can turn things around for her ) Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor had that potential throughout his three year run. He'll always be my Favorite Doctor, nothing will budge him off my favorite Doctors List. In fact, getting Doctor Who The Complete Peter Capaldi Years Set was the best thing I purchased, so much so, my Mom once said " Move over Average White Band, you got the baddest Scottsman in Time and Space" ( seriously, she really said that!! ) Once again, you are amazing with your videos featuring The Twelfth Doctor, and this installment... I ❤️ it. Nice way to kick off my Birthday Week, the ACTUAL day is this Friday ( 03-29.... I'll be a perky 49 years old ) I know my Mom is looking down from above, happy and blessed for me. Anyway, beautiful video Margarita Life, you are a star..... and so is a scary handsome, cool Rockstar of a Former Doctor, not bad for someone almost 61. It's been Rock and Roll, said 12.... Thank you so much for this love letter to Twelve and for all the fanvids you've made that go right to the emotional heart of this Doctor. I can't imagine anyone, past or future, replacing or surpassing him as the Doctor I hold most dear. I hope Peter Capaldi is proud of what he achieved, as Twelve's three-series character arc is one of the peak performances of his career. It's baffling that a sci fi-lite family show could allow for such extraordinary range, complex emotion, silliness and subtlety, but it did, and I'm grateful to the showrunners for standing back and giving Capaldi room to blow apart the genre conventions - to transcend them - with his brilliant acting while still paying tribute to every Doctor who'd gone before. Kudos to you for distilling Twelve's charisma, his multi-faceted intelligence, his abrasiveness and loneliness and stoicism and absurdity. (I would also like to know how he managed to get more effing gorgeous with every passing season. It can't just be the hair.) Lastly - and lastingly - thank you and Peter Capaldi for breaking my heart so beautifully.

Old and kind and the biggest goof ball in the universe. He's the man who stands above it all when no one else can, and your videos prove that to me again and again. Amazing job Margarita Life. Looking back at these videos and seeing all the previous doctors it makes me so sad that Jodie's season was so bad. And I don't even think it's the fault of the actors I think they're doing pretty well all things considered and those things to consider are the writers. Idk what happened but nothing worked this season. While the companions are pretty decent characters. They're underwritten and there was never enough time devoted to developing them. Even episodes that seemed to revolve around one or two had little to no character growth and didn't show off any new or interesting parts of them. I'm really disappointed with how this season turned out and I really hope it gets better soon

Its a problem that arises with haveing a full TARDIS at the beginning. Had they started with 1 companion and added more in following seasons we could develop properly, but then you lack a large diverse regular cast witch is now a bad thing.

@The 11th Doctor yeah it was watchable but I've come to expect better tbh but I also really liked Jodie as the doctor and really don't think she's the problem I think it's more the writing and possibly the amount of companions. Can't say for sure until I see competent writers tackle the same amount

@@novaiscool1 the way I see it, it's possible to have a full TARDIS at the beginning and have it work. the issue is that Chibnall could've used individual episodes to develop each member of the TARDIS team but he didn't. like with Demons of the Punjab should've been an opportunity to develop Yaz as a character since it dealt with her own personal history but we never learn anything important about Yaz's character in the episodes

Crystal Wong I guess that could work, but I think developing 4 characters all at once like there doing isn't a great idea given how many people complained about the new doctor, this will hurt the odds of us getting more actresses in that roll in future.

This show is truly amazing. It is always in part of my head. Like when I'm writing, reading, arguing, I'm quoting the show. All the freaking time. When I'm depressed like truly and terribly depressed I'm watching edits and it's so conforting to go back to best times of the show. When the doctor was living greater loss, losing his will to live yet still doing what he thought was right. He keeps going. Always. No matter how broken he is. And it brings tears to me. And I need that. I need to see him live to the fullest, the best like the worst time. The laughs, the tears, the scream. It has such an effect on me. Thank you for the edits. I'm so grateful for the work you do and for the show ❤️

I did not think you could top your previous work. I was very wrong. This is a superb piece of storytelling. Every beat is just so right and clearly drives your narrative forward. Thankyou for integrating Jodie Whittaker into your story, picking up all the post Missy nods/hints to what was coming and reminding us that we are looking at the same person, He/She/They are the Doctor I've long been an admirer of Peter Capaldi's body of work and he certainly did not disappoint in the role of a lifetime. I truly believe that Series 8-10 will be seen as another golden age of Who. Flawless? No, of course not but with a pretty darn high batting average. Kudos to Steven Moffat for six series of stunning, exhausting work and setting the stage for the Chibs/Whittaker bandwagon. It's all brilliant! (scrunch face)

Doctor....I miss you very much. There are moments when The Doctor must face some of the darkest parts of his heart - of his own soul, and though some Doctors have had to face the worst situations, no Doctor has ever had to delve so deeply into the nightmares The Doctor had given himself, and honestly had to pull himself up from. I do dearly wish that you were still at the Time rotor and guiding/driving the T.A.R.D.I.S. or taking credit for it. I don't think you were truly given something that explored the depths of your abilities, but I do think that some of the story lines given you could not have become Doctor stories without your grace and skill. Thank you, Doctor. And Doctor, tell Peter Capaldi he was "fantastic" and "brilliant" made so much of the "impossible" shortcomings of the show. You've been brilliant Mr. Capaldi, and I do wish that you'd gotten The Doctor off of that damn ship that's probably falling in the black hole that is still holding that demon thing Thank you Doctor.

Eccleston got me into Who, Tennant made me love it, Smith made me adore it, But Capaldi... Words aren't good enough to describe what he did! I hope when all is said and done he gets the recognition he deserves as he truly but the The in The Doctor! I just wish he'd had better showrunners and more time! capaldi perfectly represented the “wizard-doctor,” anybody who meets him is totally out of their depth. he is JUST A MAN. but he’s been here for so so long and he’s just out of touch with it. and he looks at you, and he sees a child. just a baby. and he sees that you’re hurting yourself and you’re hurting eachother. and it’s not like he’s learned all the lessons, but he’s learned enough to feel tired with the never ending conflict of all of these stupid kids, these kids he has to save from themselves.
