but here's another thing, usually the teams with Medalion tend to be the most stacked, and tend to get forecast towers ( not always and especially not with pros games this isn't as accurate but still holds some value,) so they could of just been following where the most medallions teams are as they tend to predict the next zone (just a theory)

Savage basically accused Nayte or Lane of using macros. He was first to land on the roof and open a chest, but the other guy standing behind him got everything from the chest. That's when Savage said that one of those guys is using a macro. Those can be used to help pick up items or guns before your opponent, I guess.

Honestly my theory is that they have some kind of auto-detection running to discern players movements in relation to future storm circle locations with forecast towers. For example, if a team moves across map in a statistically improbable way where it seems they have knowledge of future zones, there is no way to do that without cheating in some way. Now epic might not be able to prove these statistical improbabilities with 100% evidence of cheating so they give them the lowest warning possible - a warning for stream sniping (a way to achieve this future zone knowledge).

I think epic is cracking down on vma cheats but they for some reason can't say for sure yet if they are actually using dma or have just gotten a wired tweak or something but still those player got flagged... I think the type of players banned just makes sense in that regard; on eu layzen and his duo are largely unknown and defenetly use macros, I don't think prism cheats but caspernovice might very well. Haven't looked at the other teams who got disqualified but it just seems like they all are teams who *might* be cheating.

My theory is that the team contesting savage and mongraal had macros setup. Maybe anti-cheat is updated to detect macros from different softwares running on your device. Why I ended up with this conclusion is because whenever savage tried to 50-50 the chest ( first 4 games ) of grands. Not a single time he ended up with the gun or any loot. Savage and mongraal ended up winning the spawn after they gave up on 50-50 the chest on top of their landing. How can he lose 4 times back to back on a single chest? Ik ping matters but savage does have good ping on EU. This is my best guess

10:37 I'm no Epic employee, but here's how I would devise a naive solution: Epic keeps a store of the twitch usernames of some popular players and links them to their Epic username or internal user ID. Keep in mind that EAC already has some form of admin access so getting access to a browser's memory or API wouldn't be difficult. You scan all the browser tabs and see if a Twitch tab exists with the username of a person in your game. This may be flawed, but it wouldn't be too difficult to implement. Ensuring the tab is being played (and not paused) would also be another condition that should be checked. Sorry for nerding out🤓

Mongraal and Mr Savage may talk about landing positions, different ways to play off spawn, etc... that could be listened to by the stream snipers, and the three minute delay wouldn't really matter if they're in the lobby waiting for next game, etc. For example, if Mr Savage and Mongraal died off spawn, they could then say like "Oh I'm going to land on roof next time..." which would be in 20 minutes when the next game starts.

yo so i was actually doing some research of my own into this issue especially the OCE teams. I had a short chat with Crusades and he said he didn't stream snipe in grands, maybe he was cheating in qualifiers? they are t2 team so not exactly sure if they were cheating in grands like maybe with very weak aimbot because they did get 8th which is their best placement by far. Suns and Vazen could have been cheating as well as they got 120 more points than alex worthy and even repulse jace only won by 12 points.

I think this is anti cheat picking up hacking signs rather than identifying the actual hack, & that they have a 99.99% faith in their detection that they're happy to remove them from the leaderboards & issue warnings, but not certain enough to provide hard bans in case of false positives as has happened in the past. You'll probably find a lot of these players 'promoted' to perma bans once Epic finds that last 0.01% certainty.

Well alot of pros income is streaming (for instance mongraal and savage were pulling in tens of thousands of views) and let's be honest streaming or not savage and mongraal were not gonna win that fncs.
