@@msquaredj9780 music is a terrible coping mechanism. I dont understand how listening to depressed music makes you feel better. Listening to sad music just makes you think of more sad thoughts. And myself personally I have had situations like that and all your problems just come all at once. Its hard to deal with it. You cant face problems very easily all at once and this is what music does to us And then once you calm down. You gain the impression that music has "made" you happier. When in all actuality, it just avoided them. And avoiding problems is never a solution In simpler terms. Music helps you avoid or distract you from problems And this is why I feel like music shouldnt be a coping mechanism. Its because you avoid and not solve your problems This is why there are so many depressed people who listen to music
